Not only are we telling you that Richard Allen is completely innocent, but we are telling you exactly who the true killers are. Meanwhile, they are free, living their best lives. Who we truly need to thank is the investigative efforts of three distinguished law enforcement officers: Kevin Murphy, Todd Click, and the late Greg Ferency. When their investigation surfaced in the infamous 136-page memorandum, it changed everything, casting new light on the case and giving a motive where none had existed before. The response from authorities like Superintendent Doug Carter, Lieutenant Jerry Holeman, and Judge Frances Gull reveals just how deeply they despise defense attorneys Baldwin and Rozzi for exposing these uncomfortable truths. Their hostility toward these attorneys even outweighs their disdain for the alleged child murderer himself. This response alone speaks volumes. While the true killers roam free, Richard Allen remains incarcerated, fighting for his innocence in what has become the battle of his life. He did exactly what authorities encourage us to do when they say, “See something, say something.” Yet he ended up in prison for it, facing conditions meant to break him. His pre-trial detention in a maximum-security prison-typically reserved for society’s most dangerous-was nothing more than a calculated attempt to shatter him, and sadly, it succeeded. Richard Allen, already suffering from depression and anxiety, was paraded through the prison, naked, humiliated with a dog collar around his neck, mocked by inmates, and abused by guards known to wear Odinist symbols. These guards, many of whom are reportedly huge, intimidating figures, easily overpowered Allen, a smaller man at 5’4”. Rather than administering his usual medication, they injected him with haloperidol, a powerful antipsychotic, which does nothing for depression but creates symptoms that mimic severe psychosis. Adding to the torment, they allegedly tainted his food with methamphetamines, leaving him sleepless, malnourished, and acting out of character, even to the point of visible distress, and masturbating on camera. This drug-induced psychosis was a temporary episode, one he might come out of and regain awareness after days, weeks, or even months. The Richard Allen his wife Kathy saw on those tapes was someone she never recognized before, and the pain of watching him in this state is unimaginable. Baldwin and Rozzi, Allen’s attorneys, are the true heroes here. When they learned of his mistreatment in Westville, they took immediate action, exposing the inhumane conditions, which forced the guards to change their tactics. That intervention likely saved Richard Allen’s life, as he had deteriorated severely-emaciated, delusional, and quickly losing touch with reality. The second set of heroes is Kevin Murphy, Todd Click, and Greg Ferency, whose investigation pointed to a group of suspects wholly unrelated to Richard Allen. Until Allen’s wrongful imprisonment is corrected, there can be no justice for Abby and Libby, as their real killers continue to walk free. The jurors in this case are perceptive and serious about their duty. They are asking the tough questions, and it’s becoming painfully clear that the man charged with killing Abby and Libby is simply not the killer. The case has been marred by prosecutorial and judicial misconduct from the outset, which anyone paying close attention can recognize. Richard Allen has been clearly, "Shawshanked" and the Jurors are simply not gonna fall for "the banana in the tail pipe." The most disturbing element of this cover-up involves Carroll County Sheriff Tony Liggett, who has been involved in the case since day one. Liggett was aware of the “fruit of the poisonous tree” doctrine, knowing it could leave the case technically solved but officially unresolved. Yet, seeing an opportunity with the upcoming election and his standing in the polls, he chose to exploit the case for his own benefit. He genuinely believed he could get away with it, but instead, he opened Pandora’s box. Liggett’s reputation speaks for itself, as locals know him well-a man with limited education, rumored to be associated with meth use, bar games, and tool-cleaning sessions at his trailer park. The state’s “smoking guns” in the case are two flimsy pieces of evidence: a van and an unspent bullet, neither of which appeared in the probable cause affidavit that led to Allen’s arrest. This affidavit is supposed to be the foundation of the case, not a scavenger hunt to support a narrative. By law, a case should have enough solid evidence to convict an individual at the time of arrest, yet this case clearly does not. The assumption that Richard Allen is guilty is laughable, given the blatant lack of evidence and the glaringly obvious misconduct at play. Saying Rick is the killer is compared to someone saying that Jeffrey Dahmer was wrongfully convicted. Allen has been treated as though he is guilty with no regard for his rights or humanity. Law enforcement has misled the public since day one, assuming no one would question their actions. But now, with the truth surfacing, they have a lot of explaining to do, especially for exploiting Abby and Libby’s names without seeking true justice for them. Disturbingly, even the victims’ families seem complicit in promoting the state’s narrative. Becky Patty publicly named a suspect while the girls were still missing-a name the defense team has been barred from even mentioning. The family’s consistent public praise for law enforcement over the years is perplexing, given the unresolved nature of the case. Their public endorsements, alongside the creation of a million-dollar memorial park, suggest a level of closure that seems unjustified if justice has yet to be served. The coming revelations will not only implicate numerous law enforcement agencies and public officials but also expose members of the victims’ families who have worked to shield the authorities from scrutiny. This is a story of too many “chiefs” and not enough “Indians,” and as the truth comes to light, it remains to be seen who will betray whom first. Abby, Libby, and Richard Allen all deserve far better than the system has provided.

Since the jury now has the case, it's redundant to comment. However, Joe Public needs to remember that there are ZERO prosecutorial podcasts only defense attorney podcasts. Apparently, prosecutorial podcasts in these kind of trials are a public no no. Gray Hughes, not an attorney, does not have these restrictions so at least the public can get a different perspective. However, at times GH is caustic and rude, which in my general experience with lawyers is par for the course with prosecutorial lawyers. It's probably a good generalization, that they are widely detested.

@@doonesbury-u3h 🙄 you say that while watching a show that is *hosted by a former prosecutor* G.H.’s attitude is not typical of any of the prosecutors I have watched or dealt with. Lawyer You Know is a civil attorney who is often joined by his father who is a prosecutor. His is probably the most objective take from a lawyer that you can find on KZbin in any case relating to any case. Andrea Burkhart is a defence attorney, but is doing an excellent job of reporting the facts in an objective manner. And prosecuting attorneys aren’t the ones who are widely detested. those would be the defence attorneys. The biggest problem with Gray is that he tries to present himself as providing the facts, but he makes up his mind early on and presents an argument in which he omits inconvenient facts and misrepresents others

How many know that Bob Motta, Court TV lawyer is actually a part of RA's defense team? GH, not a lawyer, is not bound by prosecutorial restrictions. I have a friend that walked in to a police station READY TO CONFESS HE HAD JUST KILLED HIS OWN FRIEND! But, it so happened that his friend in question was actually alive and well! My friend was in a psychosis, he had not even encountered the mentioned person and he had not hurt anyone AT ALL. It was hallucinations that made him believe he was guilty of such a horrific crime. It was visions that were totally false. These visions did actually not even align with his personality and usual behaviors. He felt VERY BAD about what (he thought) he had done, which led him to go to the police to confess. Fortunately, he was free to leave the police station because they quickly understood his condition, thank God, so when he eventually felt convinced he had done nothing, he left and went home! That’s HOW CRAZY a person can get during the “right” circumstances, and this breaking point is individual. It’s unbelievable how many people don’t understand that these things actually happen, and it can happen to anyone! Everyone clearly needs to have some basic education in psychology, that has become obvious with this trial! Whether Richard Allen is innocent in this case or not, it’s SUCH A SHAME that people cannot even comprehend that someone in a situation like his could make false confessions! There are different reasons for false confessions happening. Visions that make you believe you’re guilty is of course one of them. Another is a prolonged period of extreme discomfort that the person believes will stop if they just tell the police what they want to hear, even though they believe they’re innocent and don’t recall doing anything of what they’re confessing. They are in desperate need to get out of the situation but can not think clearly because of a deteriorating mental state. They have already told the truth again and again and have stood by their innocence for a long time but law enforcement just REFUSE TO ACCEPT IT, and remember law enforcement are in power over the incarcerated person, they decide what happens to them, they’re in control of the suspect’s whole life in a way, which is why some suspects will try to please them with false confessions in hopes of some mercy, some relief. Put enough pressure on a suspect in incarceration, particularly in segregation, and a false confession is not uncommon to happen. You can also start to question yourself, your sanity and therefore question your innocence, because law enforcement continues to tell you that you are guilty, that they have all evidence needed, that there is no doubt about it (although they’re lying to you). If you’re pressured and LIED TO by law enforcement day after day while you’re incarcerated, that will EVENTUALLY break you down! Eventually you will say anything if you think it will make it STOP. Being incarcerated, alone and constantly lied to by law enforcement for a long time will make you delusional faster than you might think.

100,000%!!! People do not understand what it's like; if you have not experienced psychosis, you will NOT be able to comprehend it. There are just no situations or experiences that even compare, and words fall short most of the time. I tried to explain it to my sister, who went into the Delphi Case thinking that RA was innocent and now thinks he is guilty. I went into this thinking he was guilty, and I now have my doubts. I just don't know anymore, and I am hoping that the jury does not rush to a decision on this. I am so thankful I am not on that jury having to make the decision about this man's life. (And while I am at it, YES I KNOW that this is happening because 2 girls were murdered. I WANT JUSTICE FOR LIBBY AND ABBY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) But tbh I am still not convinced that RA (entirely) was at fault. To me it's more likely that someone passing through the town at the time happened to do this, got startled- maybe by Richard Allen HIMSELF- and they moved on and disappeared after this to never be found again. I am hoping that in the future, our DNA analysis techniques will be so advanced that we will be able to prove without a shadow of a doubt that it WAS or WAS NOT Richard. I'm getting more and more interested in Brad. Richard Allen said in one of his confessions that Brad came in his Van and RA was disturbed? Let's say Brad arrived a little earlier saw the girls up on the bridge, stops below goes up the hill and comes behind the girls and says.. guys down the hill..? It also explains the lack of movement and steps for 7 minutes in the health app on the phone. Have Brad's buildings been searched by dogs and examined for blood? In my eyes, he is more and more suspicious the more you hear from the trial. I also have to say that Doug Carter doesn't seem to have all the horses at home! How can he ask the FBI to stop its work? Moron!

One of the girls had contacted her boyfriend on the 12th so they can meet on the 13th. They weren't going out there for no reason like people assume. Her boyfriend had to know that they didn't have school that day which meant they would have been free to meet there. There was probably other people that waiting for them down the hill. And I don't believe that Richard Allen was one of them. He had left the area before they had even gotten there.

I stopped following Gray Hughes. He’s a gross person. He acts like he has everything figured out… as long as you ignore the majority of the evidence and ignore ORIGINAL statements that have evolved to different stories throughout the years. This dude’s a clown. He outright called a lawyer providing precise notes “Stupid” on air. A lawyer… someone with extremely high intelligence and skill and knowledge. If she was the actual Defense Lawyer, sure Gray, accuse her of lying… but this dude is laughable. He’s a joke. Not sure what your creds are, but believing confessions of Richard AFTER BEING TREATED BY A TRUE CRIME ENTHUSIAST who happened to be the Dr talking to him EVERY DAY about the case… while he’s an INNOCENT man being treated worse than actual convicted persons… even Chris Watts has more rights than this guy.

But the phone turns on and all messages are delivered then at 433am The area has bad cell coverage yes, but if the phone was off after 233, someone turned it on at 433, and if smoke is going to blown up my ... The statistical odds have had their fill because first its some random, next the video doesn't exactly identify, the evidence is poor, its been 7 years, the amount of predators in this secluded small area, kegan Kline, the suspect, , the cop who was arrested lying on paperwork, now they saying the phone just turns on for no reason... The 433am bothers me because lets say human hands turned on the phone, that would mean the suspect returned, this time period the search was postponed, meaning possible part of the civilian search team... Thats what I think is craziest about the facts, that 433 phone action... Someone knows that area as doing something like this... This isn't some random dude coming across TWO girls... IDK but what i do know law enforcement are criminally incompetent in this justice for the girls, SMH

He didn't. He also said that he killed his family members and his grandkids. His family members are still alive and he doesn't have grandkids. They broke this man psychologically and they tried to force him to confess. My problem is this, if he confessed so many times why didn't they get it on camera? We just have to believe what they told us he said with no real evidence. This whole case is nothing but a huge cover up.
