I love this scene (for many reasons) but one of my favorite reasons is that it shows how self destructive and short sighted Walts decision to get rid of the "legacy cost" was. Walt couldnt understand why youd pay people in jail not to talk and just killed them so now everyone else in his scheme also thinks theyll be killed as soon as theyre not useful anymore.

I believe Huell is a perfect example of the ideal man. Of course he’s good looking and charming but most of all he’s loyal. He did sell out Walt and Saul but that was only after he was led to believe that Jesse was shot. He always gets the job done but he also knows when it’s gone too far. Jesse was a dear friend to Huell and over the 5 or so unrelated scenes they shared he had grown to respect and admire Jesse. Despite the millions he’s devoured and universes he’s destroyed apathetically, Huell was still reasonably unhappy when he thought Walt had Jesse killed and Saul had betrayed him. He was broken and distraught in a moment of humanity and regret. He isn’t always in the right but he always tries to do good by everyone. Like when he lays down on Walt’s money in the fashion of a mother hen to keep it warm for Walter and his family. Or when he took Jesse’s cigarettes because he knew they would be detrimental to his health and well-being in the long term. In conclusion Huell would be a great religious profit, coworker, friend or even lover for anyone!!! That is…… As long as you keep him happy.
