WHY Would You Use FLARE GUN in Terraria?

Why Would You Use is a series on Terraria items and their usefulness.
Flare Gun is definitely a handy tool in Terraria, but compared to the alternatives is Flare Gun something you should use or not?

0:31 Hilarious how now all of those items are super valuable to find (Pharaoh's set shimmers into both the flying carpet and the sandstorm in the bottle, the staff of regrowth (which was always valuable for farms wtf is this person even saying???) is useful for the axe of regrowth, the treasure magnet is now used in the hand of creation and the flare gun, well this video will explain further)

in long run its always better to spam torches everywhere so that you could always see instead of just for few moments. i personally never used torches because theres so many other ways to get light but after i started lighting up everything i realised how much its better. flare gun is just useless for light in long run

Hi, this video was recommended to me and I just wanted to give feedback on the thumbnail. Its good, but the video length timer obstructs the word "tool", so it cant be read easily. I'd recommend moving "tool" a bit to the left. Cheers.
