Does Pac not own any other clothes? Even when he's not wrestling, he's in his ring gear. Is "Pac Street Clothes" a DLC? He already feels like an add-on because he wasn't in BCC, he isn't consistently out with the others, and when he does join them he doesn't adhere to their white t-shirt aesthetic. I know it doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things, but it also wouldn't take a lot of effort to change.

The Acclaimed break-up angle should have happened several months ago when Max was putting his old team, The Shook Crew, back together on the Indies. At that time, the Acclaimed break-up angle first started, Max was working an angle in Beyond with Bobby Orlando, trying to put the Shook Crew back together. Meanwhile, Bryce Donovan, the third member of the Shook Crew appeared backstage on AEW TV. As far as fans not being hot for what was put in front of them, the wrestling is still great but the booking has fatigued the audience. If you were to tell me a year ago the most popular guy in the company (MJF) would be a heel and feuding with a babyface Rodrick Strong I would have thought you were crazy. Then there's the multiple turns of Kris Statlander & Jay White this year. Bell to bell AEW has still got it From a storyline perspective though they've been a race car trying to drive on their rims. Look, I get it, main events are gonna have people kick out of finishers. Baffling decision but it's a thing now. But how the hell are we supposed to take the Orange Punch seriously as a finisher is dude tanks 5 of them and doesn't lose his balance? Then later, OC takes 1 D-Rider and it's over? Either Finishers mean something or they don't. It makes no sense to have one person's mean nothing and another to be protected beyond belief. I enjoyed the ppv, but the main event was disappointing to say the least. Both Mox and OC poured their hearts out and I'll forever give them props for that, but the finisher thing has got to be decided, once and for all. They either mean something or they don't.

The bubbles burst with AEW. I want them to be a success, genuinely I do. But if you cater to the indie crowd, then you're only ever going to do indie level business.
@gorgusan3 күн бұрын
Which is fine to me, because whenever they start catering to WWE fans by incorporating more sports-entertainment elements, that's when I find people lose interest. So many people telling them they gotta do more this or that, that they don't understand the business and wtv, and then when AEW listens to these people the product's quality diminishes. If people want to watch WWE, they should just watch wwe and let AEW do their own thing their way, cause that's when they're at their best. Doesn't matter to me if they make less numbers or they stay forever the number two company, as long as it's enjoyable to watch. And lately, it hasn't been.
@jonprice92143 күн бұрын
@gorgusan see I'd say the complete opposite, because they were at their best when they had compelling stories, Punk V MJF being the provable highlight. It was excellent television, it drew crowds, drew my money and elevated the company. Just having heatless "bangers" with loads of moves just doesn't work unless you're a mark for that (and I am!) and you can see it either your own eyes, because crowds are down, attendence is down, ratings are in the toilet. No one is watching. And let's be real here, TK can't book! He's not a wrestling promoter. And the idea perpetuated by Meltzer and his ilk that super indie, lucha influenced wrestling is the way to go, you only have to look over at the 'Fed to see that for the complete BS it is. Compelling stories and good angles performed by talented professionals are what's leading WWE into its unprecedented boom period. Whether they (AEW) dissolve or not, the main thing for me is it's just not entertaining anymore, and that's really frustrating because it was and they had the best opportunity a company could to be a credible alternative, and they've spent 2 years flushing it down the drain. I just don't see how I'll ever enjoy it again, other than the odd match here and there.

@AvanzadaDental4 күн бұрын
@ddivine.21 Exactly. It wasnt like one day they just turned into something totally different, but a slow process over the years, but like I said, I remember clearly how a lot of people reacted, in a bad way. I know they have a business, this is not just a "hobby", they need the money, we all do, but we all started to follow them for a reason, and it wasnt because we liked their "business", it was more like having a friend who knew a lot of wrestling who wanted to share that with you, just that. Again, I know they need to make money, I just think they lost themselves along the way trying to keep the business part of it going, not overnight, but over the years, to the point we are today. Yes, things change, we all do, sometims for the better, sometimes not. Its like you start a relationship and everything its great at first, but as time goes by, you realize little details here and there, that doesnt mean you are ending it right there, it takes time for you to stop believing there is a chance for change, for me, that time has ended today

I always love the orchestrated boy scout whistle music in the background. I’m betting the Rizzler and the Costco Boys will be at Macy’s Thanksgiving parade. They will be in Aew probably a bunch more. They will have some type of Christmas Special and they will be there when they drop the ball for New Years. Then everyone will forget about them and they will disappear.

I didn’t order this PPV. Just not invested in anyone in AEW. They have done a piss poor job of making us care each week. I like Orange Cassidy, but he’s not enough to make me want to pay for this PPV. I am willing to bet the dead crowd responses are equally not invested in the characters.

well first of all I'd like to thank you for letting me know that swerve and osprey both lost their matches, I'm very happy based on those outcomes that I did not watch any of the Pay-Per-View... and secondly I watched your TNA video right before turning on this & it showed me a lot of negative similarities which made me sad

Ya'll always say "Do better" when it comes to the Women, but then whenever you talk about the Women on Smackdown etc even when they're in angles ya'll are always condescending, giving it little notice, or going 'nobody cares' more or less. Meanwhile do you talk about all the Women's wrestling getting time in WWE? Not really. Do you focus on the NXT Women's Division and all the storylines they're involved with? Not really. Women's wrestling across all WWE programming: 51:45 Women's wrestling across all AEW + PPV programming: 44:44 Women's wrestling across AEW + PPV + ROH: 51:24 Maybe ya'll need to also 'do better' yourselves, if you're going to ask the companies to do so.

If you stopped watching wrestling for whatever reason, but decided to watch the match with the Costco people, don't ever watch again. I don't know who that match was for, but they're not needed or wanted in the wrestling business.

Didn't watch the match but hearing Luke say... "he somehow absorbed it" while taking Ospreay's finisher and then winning after makes me not wanna watch it at all... it's every single Ospreay match too... every single one of his has no selling and at least one no sold finisher. Yes Luke, spot on! Match with Mercedes and Statlander was given the time to tell a great story… something lacking in wwe women’s division. Finally the women were allowed a match. This ppv would be criticised for being too long, but these matches were given the time they needed to tell the stories they needed to. Well done Tony Khan !

WTF was Mariah May and Mina's segment? I'll tell ya, it was dumb, frustrating, and another sucker punch to the women's division. Really? This is how we're doing Mariah vs Mina? Who even is Mina in AEW? She has had zero development. She's only showed up in segments as a backup presence for Mariah with about as much substance as a cardboard cutout... and this is who is getting the next shot? Why not someone who is actually on the roster? Someone who actually has some momentum? Oh, we don't have anyone with momentum in the division and the champ is at risk of stagnating if we don't force a thing between her and that manager girl she sometimes has in the background of her promos? Alright, just make sure it has blood and it'll be fine.
