Randy Savage’s brother Lanny who was a manager in the 80’s and 90’s as The Genius basically confirmed the Randy/Stephanie McMahon thing in a shoot interview as did Randy’s ex, only two people who really confirm never will as one is unfortunately now longer with us and the other will never speak about it

Randy Savage was on his way back to the WWE but unfortunately passed away. He appeared in the promotional commercial for WWE legends video game. Him doing that was kind of away to slowly bring him back to the company unfortunately because he passed away. It didn’t happen. I also don’t buy the Stephanie story. There’s been many accounts that have disapproved this. I think mostly the reason why it was because of the Slim Jim pulling out of WWE to stay with Randy Savage and go with WCW.

I might be crazy but the way McMahon acted when he announced on air that Macho was the property of WCW felt like a jilted teenager grieving over his crush… seeing the way McMahon has been revealed over the last years I would say that was more likely than pure pettiness

I've always wondered this as well. WWE has accepted wrestlers who have been far more hostile to Vince and WWF/WWE than Randy Savage ever was. I heard about the Stephanie McMahon rumor and honestly thats the only thing i can think of that would justify Vince not contacting Randy while he was still alive.

Mickie James had a falling out with WWE and never went back, after she was fired as a wrestler in 2010 Mickie was given a PT job as an NXT trainer, she left in 2013 because WWF wouldn't allow her to wrestle anymore as Vince thought she was too old at the ripe old age of 32, Vince wanted her to train younger college aged girls as the next crop of Divas and that pissed Mickie off enough to quit WWE for good. She went on to become the Impact! Knockout Champion and retired on her own terms in 2022. Gail Kim went through pretty much the same scenario and they had some pretty good matches in Impact!, you could say the Knockouts Division saved that company.

It’s obviously for two reasons one he took $750,000 of endorsement money of Slim Jim money with him. Eric Bischoff mentioned this as he said he paid Savage $750,000 and got $750,000 from Slim Jim so he got him for free. The real reason is that Savage was extremely frugal and kept all his money. Stories of him in the ‘80s he was notorious for sleeping in his car to save money on hotel rooms. And didn’t party lavishly like other wrestlers did. It’s because of that he didn’t have to return. In Vince’s huge ego (which is massive) it’s easier to deal with “I’m not allowing him to return” over he dosent need us as just about everyone else has either come crawling back or been refused by the WWF. Savage was pretty much the only exception. In addition Prichard is a huge McMahon suck up and his recollection of events is extremely pro McMahon to the point of being almost Hoganish when talking history. Truth of the matter was Savage was being written off in ‘93 because of the whole “New Generation” movement and they felt he was too old which was nonsense. I mean savage vs Hart at WM 9 would have saved that train wreck of a card. So they sidelined him as a color commentator. But it wasn’t an hugely positive view as keeping him around. Never understood JR’s dislike of Savage because almost everyone liked Savage. More I hear from JR the more he comes off as kind of a grump

A little off topic but internet fans seem to praise Randy Savage while attacking Hogan's character, but Randy Savage was just as bad, if not worse than Hogan. Fans seem to gloss over that Randy Savage was possessive and emotionally abusive to Miss Elizabeth. He also had a colorful personality backstage, especially during his last times in WCW, so I wouldn't think the WWE management would want that around.

Savage was just a pain in the ass business wise. so is Jesse Ventura, savage was never as vocally critical of Vince as Ventura, and they worked things out when the timing and money was right. With the right deal, savage would’ve been back, it was probably already in the works since they made game characters and action figures of him just before he died. The only reason he wasn’t in the booth somewhere is because he didn’t want to. He sure didn’t need to, thanks to Slim Jim. Savage and Vince were/are both very smart, and crazy. There were going to be some bumps along the way lol.

The Stephanie rumors piss me off! Not only is it unfounded with NO PROOF, i am a fan of mach, always was always will be. You guys throw that around because its not as elegant or attention getting as Randy took the SLIM JIM contract with him! It cost vince almost a million dollars per year in ad revenue! He didnt read the fine print when randy took the slim jim contract with him. So no randy macho man savage didnt cheat on Elizabeth with Stephanie. And WHO would even know? Do you think she went up to vince and said mach just fkd me so good!? That is as baseless as everyone that wouldn't accept there was ONLY ONE ultimate warrior. Jim hellwig.

Randy was not inducted before he was because he wanted his father and brother to go in with him. WWE would NOT come to terms with that. The Stephanie rumors piss me off. You guys HAVE the reason right in front of you abd its been there the entire time!! People are so freakin dense. Listen to Eric Bischoff talk about how signing randy AND Lanny cost him...well.... AOL/Time Warner... Virtually no money at ALL because vince didbt read the fine print on the SLIM JIM deal. The cobtract was for RANDY ALONE. So when he jumped ship to WCW in 1994, he took SLIM JIM with him. He was getting almost a million dollars per year to say that catchphrase. This was at a time that pro wrestling was....i wont say unpopular but wrestling in general just lost some appeal. So a mil dollars a year is nothing to the WWE after they went public but in 1994 losing a MAJOR star AND the SLIM JIM contract. Vince had to sign a 2nd contract with SLIM JIM for that ad revenue. But being financially stable as randy was known for (some say cheap) he got one over on vince. It was LANNY and Randys new (at the time) wife. They both said its not just about randy. They felt it was a disservice to HIS FANS. They knew that every year that goes by, more and more of randys fans are passing away. They didnt want him to be forgotten. The slim jim contract is apparently not as juicy to talk about.

If savage didn't do the deed with steph when she was 17 yrs old. Then where did the rumor come from and why does it still exist?

Got any solid proof of that. There is only 2 people who know and 1 of them is dead, so what good does saying that do if you can't back up your words

There is a video of Savage in the weight room calling out HHH and saying to him in his rant he is gonna take Stephanie around the corner!! @@jasoncarty467why the hell would he say that if there was no truth to this, and seems like Stephanie will take this to her grave also

@@jasoncarty467 The people who believe this because believing it makes any associated story more interesting, not that any confirmation or theory is in anyway logical or credible….. IF such a incident is the cause of the unreconcilable rift between the Poffo and McMahon family why would purpose would it serve to have a savage advocate suggesting it while a McMahon advocate denying or simply keeping silent? Given that the oldest Stephanie could possibly be is barely 19 confirmation of this story would damage Randy’d legacy a hell of alot more than Stephanie

Well I'm Not Randy Savage I'm Not a Athlete or Entertainer but I can relate I was a massive NFL Guy for over a Decade but stupid ass Sports Fans and ridiculous scandals soured me on the American Football league and I stopped watching In 2013 for Bellator MMA like I did Wrestling but I returned to Wrestling had a brief stint with Canadian Football loved what saw but the NFL Is at least to me kinda Mainstream and Trashy that Taylor Swift BS really got on my nerves and they showing It on Nickelodeon the NFL may hate my opinions but I'm very valid In my points SpongeBob SquarePants and Dora The Explorer belong In Hollywood Squares not The NFL

So do you know what a period is? Also why shouldn't the NFL try to appeal to people other than you? You don't have to watch the game on Nick. Complaining it exists would be like me complaining about the "Manningcast". At least as far as I remember the games are broadcast on CBS and Nick does their own broadcast.

I believe Macho slept with Steph!! Macho cut a promo angry as hell and called out HHH and said in his rant he will take Stephanie around the corner!! What would make him say such a thing?? These are facts that this went down and Vince would never forgive Savage for the act
