Purple is obviously the best color simply because its 90% of the banlist. Bandai still hasnt figured out just how broken recursion from trash in concert with card draw can be, both of which purple excels at. Blue is great at gaining advantage, but purple can do ridiculous things like the Minerva loop combo that blow it out of the water.

Bandai figure out that why they ban it. Ppl complaining purple no gd stuffs, bandai make ppl happy by printing gd stuffs, then ppl complaint it op. Bandai go ban it and ppl complain again Ppl are hard to please.

I love purple because of the trash manipulation. Your trash essentially becomes a second hand full of resources

Dang, I was gonna say this, but you've but it so succinctly, I'm not gonna bother except to add to it. It has a similar kind of potential diversity in deck building to yellow as Mario mentions. You can of course filter with it as very popularized but I love playing just random little level 3s. But self-mill, mutual mill, and even a bit of foe only mill are a thing. I like hand manipulation like Ravemon does. Speaking of Ravemon's hiding in the trash basically to avoid removal is fun. Like a lot of people can take advantage of a second resource, but I like purple good stuff is a thing. It can make a bunch of weird but balanced decks too.

Another reason I love Machinedramon so much. The toolboxy benefits of being able to use your trash is wonderful! Machinedramon continues to be the best 😌

Green is my favorite color, but it's also the weakest / most fragile color in the game. My favorite color to play is black. Because Bandai couldn't decide what black was supposed to do early in the game, and they still haven't really settled it, it's the color that can do a little bit of everything, including various means of protection, recursion, and removal. That being said, just by virtue of being able to recover and having the best removal, yellow probably is the strongest color in the game.

People be like Purple be the best because trash is a 2nd hand, that’s true. Yellow players say it’s the best because Security acts as a 2nd hand, that’s also true. Me though, why not Yellow/Purple because I get not only trash as a hand, but security as another hand as well, 3 hands is better than 1.

Blue is the best color in the game imo. It's not my favorite, but it has the wides tool kit for general utility, has solid removal, and is the color of unsuspending which is the most broken mechanic in the game. You could throw a pile of blue cards together and top locals which I don't think you could really do with any other color.

Black is probably my favorite color. I appreciate the ability to delete digimon, dedigivolve, and lots of redirects to protect my security. My favorite deck right now is definitely galacticmon. It's super consistent if built well. It needs support, but I hope it will get it soon.

I wouldn't say yellow is the best colour in general. It's the most useable and versatile one for mindgames because you don't need to play an specific archtypes like the mentioned examples BUT this doesn't make it the best overall. If you look at tournament records blue is currently the top colour thanks to their toolbox options and memory manipulation, followed by purple which can use the trash as a second deck. Yellow is THE BEST for defensive gameplays but lacks offensive cards to go for a direct win while A Delicate Plan! can be played in a bunch of decks to counter the security effects and secure an OTK win. A good example will be Yellow Vaccine VS Seven Demons Lord (The CardProtagonist has a showcase video for this specific matchup) where Yellow Vaccine dominates but loses at the end because the deck misses offensive options. (Not the best example but you will get the idea...) Depending on the colour functions I would say there isn't a best colour because each has its advantages and disadvantages in a different ways and can be countered by another colour thanks to its specific mechanics, like blue had an advantage over red by removing digivolution cards which red needed for DP and Sec Atks, green suspended black blockers and so (early game state example = Red > Purple > Green > Black > Yellow > Blue > Red...). In the end it depends on the matchup and decks which colour dominates. But you can say blue, yellow and purple are currently the most consistent colours. All I can say is black and green (+ red to counter Sec Con decks) are my favourites (play big and hit hard-gameplays) but tier-wise they have the most T3 (Machinedramon

I think yellow has the most powerful cards, generally. Consistency, protection, removal, recovery. It has it all. That being said, it's far from my favorite, mechanically.. for that, I would go with Black. Black has de-digivolve, blocker, reboot, and other effects that got me hooked when I first started. Also, Black decks usually have an identity that varies wildly between decks. Blue decks generally play like blue decks. Yellow decks generally play like yellow, red plays like red, etc. Black decks are almost always unique in this aspect. And of course, it's the color of Machinedramon. Screw you, Mario. I said it. Eat my shorts. I am a Machinedramon main and you can eat a pair of smelly socks about it 💚🤖 (love your videos as always, king ❤👑)

But Purple is my favorite color because it gets all the cool effects. Ravemon - Discard deck Creepymon/Ghoulmon - Mill deck Beelzemon - Dredge style self mill deck It just gets the cool alternate ways to play the game that the other colors don’t get.

Yellow is also my favorite color, what I do find lacking is its closing combo, yeah Ruin can put a lock there, but its not 100% reliable. I would love to have a finisher card like Omni or Belze blast for game😂

I personally prefer when games are more tribal/archetype focused. I definitely preferred Yugioh that way. I'll say aside from that I lean towards purple decks for playstyle, I like playing with different trash effects like Beelze, Levia or Demon lords. But I always first approach building a deck because it's a digimon I like, then if I also like the playstyle I will build it. Then there's likely decks I'd probably enjoy but haven't tried because I don't care for the line.

Great video and good opinions and thoughts. I tend to love this game for everything. All the colors are unique and have there own gimmicks. Personally though my favorite is anything Blue. I love blues answers to outs most deck have which is bouncing cards to hand and deck. Plus Blue is the original color to do the memory manipulation and control. Blue also has strong draw power. I Personally think the top draw engines are Purple 1st then Blue 2nd. My baby is Imperial, but man Yellow has come so far, and Vaccine is the new top for Yellow.

I love blue because of the bounce, unsuspend, and jamming mechanics. I love the ability to come out of nowhere; clear a board, and swing multiple times. Blue is also my favorite color and it makes my eyes pop 🤓. Veemon is Blue!!

I agree tho, yellow has definitely become a favorite color of mine. It's the new purple. It's got so many ways to set up now and with the intro to the new yellow vaccine support from blast ace and exceed instead of setting up your trash you set up your security. Don't wanna play Angels? Play Mastemon! Don't wanna play either? Kentaurosmon! Etc etc. As much I love red it is far more a cookie cutter color than anything else.

Seeing the strength of bt14 patamon, I have some people say he will most likely be restricted, do you think this would be the case? if so, what would be your replacement in yellow vaccine?

I will always be a purple enjoyer because of its ability to toolbox from the trash in some decks. Yellow has frustrated me with how much free value it generates off patamon and emissary when no other color has a way to do so. I think if anything more colors need flexible engines that allow you to be creative and skillful in this game without being stuck in one archetype. give me Purple Virus engine or something

I can't say I have a favourite colour to play that I think is universally the best, but I do find I barely play Yellow or Green

Blue and yellow are the only colors that will keep on getting overtuned decks and engines that lets them deal with everything else and keep them on top of all metas to come. Zero reason to pick up any other color for long-term except for locals.

I love black because it was the first deck I played and topped being dorugoramon/alpha with a little splash of yellow being re mem boost and dorugoramon being able to beat over mainly anything and breath being able to deal with wyvern was crazy but degrade can and it was a bit harder but with kongou now it's easier and fun

I played the online regional in Oceania on Saturday, and the last round was against Rapidmon with a Yellow Vaccine base. Insane amount of control and removal. Might have to make Yellow Vaccine myself 🤷‍♂️

I don't have a great reason but I bought 2 st17 starter decks and I really enjoy playing the terriormon and rapidmons. But just last week I bought a full yellow kentaurosmon deck and I really enjoy the poop deck build...so I may be a little partial to yellow as well in the near future.

Yellow. It is simply the most elegant. Why battle other Digimon when you can delete them by game rules through DP reduction? Also, Patamon is the best child-level Digimon and they are generally yellow.

I completely agree about yellows deckbuilding creativity. I have been playing since bt10 and there hasn't been a PURE yellow deck that has been strong until now with the vaccine line. It's always been tied to purple (sec con/maste) or red (shine). Now that it's by itself you can finally use all the cool mix and match pieces to make a really strong deck. My favorite color is green because it rewards proper sequencing and timing more than any other deck. Bloomlord, diarbitmon, and grandis (post restriction).

Yellow deserves it for not being a color at all for an entire year between B9 and EX4. But despite all that, I do think blue is (and always has been) the best color in the game.
