Why You Absolutely HAVE To Play PSO In 2024! Phantasy Star Online!
In today's video we take another trip down memory lane and play one of my all time favorite games! I have lost count the amount of hour I have sunk into this game over the years but it's always a blast to revisit it and share my thoughts on it!

Phantasy Star Online and Diablo 2 were EVERYTHING to me growing up. Along with Arcanum, the Baldur's Gate games, the Icewind Dale Games, Digimon World, ect

Pso and pso2 have a close place in my heart I was ecstatic that they brought it to ps4 I loved and still do love pso so much

A-flipping-men to the music. PSO’s soundtrack is unlike anything else. It instantly transports you to place that sounds truly alien and wonderous

As a kid I was sometimes booting the game up just to listen to the main menu and opening theme on repeat

I didn't realise you did PSO videos as well! Great to see more people coming back to PSO or checking it out for the first time. I've played it on and off for 20 years and still don't see myself stopping! Hopefully see you on Ephinea sometime! Great video 👍

Level 21 before even leaving the Forest? Holy crap, lol. I just started a GameCube character this week and I hit level 9 getting OUT of the Caves.

There’s been a lot of new content on pso ephinea these days and I’m loving it. It even got me to download it and relive my childhood

@@deployablelover yea for sure! I’ve played DC,GC, and BB and every single time failed to reach max level due to a memory card issue or server crash. This time I really hope I can get it done.

I'd take it back compatible on xbox series X without online just to play it and to see how it looks on series x, original xbox games look great on it the ones that are back compatible. I still play it now and then on the original xbox.

I’ve never felt loneliness and abandonment from a game before, and I feel it so deep in PSO. And it’s not just playing it offline on console with all these communication features meant for no one, it’s so tangible in the sound, the themes of the game, and the atmosphere it creates. Humanity is on this lonely ship in the void, hoping to find home, and finds tragedy instead.

Played PSO 2 & NGS and I wasn't really feeling it for multiple reasons but PSO Episode 1,2 & 4 have a special place in our heart but PSO is not MMORPG, it's MORPG. 6:17-6:22 Spoken like an edgy mercenary who care about guns, getting paid to kill moving things, booze, and pr0stitutes.

Everyone being a boomer and only mentioning PSO1 and not PSO2 really grinds my gears but it's whatever now since it's dead as hell I can't get anyone to care anymore and I don't blame anyone leaving and giving up etc.

Personally I love classic PSO2, it feels like an evolution of PSO. I'm not a massive fan of NGS though as there's no feeling of progression really. The combat is fun though!

I'm confused, were you expecting the official servers to still be up for a game from 2000? The fan servers have allowed people to continue to experience PSO long after the official servers closed down, and can offer either a vanilla experience (like Ephinea) or a custom experience (like Destiny)
