These are topics everyone strives to know about in order to be an awesome streamer and I cannot see a topic like this getting old any time soon. What I like about this video and all of your videos is that you put a down to earth spin on that I feel that l can relate to in my own terms. I feel we're in a bar or coffee shop everytime you showcase these kinds of videos on YT just so genuine. Thank you so much!

I like that the title card of each section now comes as an overlay as you're talking instead of before where everything pauses to announce the next section. It's better pacing I think. And great advice as always! I've definitely been relying on playing co-op games with my friends because I find it a lot easier. But I should try more solo streams to get more practice and solidify my solo style and personality.

This was a proper sound video from a smaller channel, hoping there’ll be lots more tips coming - I’ve been struggling to grow but really noticed how much content on other platforms helps. One thing I would defo recommend is Reddit, if you can turn one of your clips into a funny meme related to that game, Reddit will eat it up 😂 I’ve also been compiling these clips into a monthly highlight reel which plays on my BRB and Starting Soon screens! I’m planning on updating my about section and my panels today too, hopefully can make them as inviting as possible! Hopefully I can continue growing the stream, and always keep improving the content! If there’s any huge glaring issues or direct pointers I could use to improve, I’d really appreciate that! My twitch is the same as my KZbin name... (I’ve rewritten and reread this as many times as I can to try to make it sound the least self-promotey and dodge, but honestly I don’t know if there’s a way of saying it without it coming across like that 😬😂 I really do just want to find ways of improving, and sometimes a fresh pair of eyes and someone with experience can help ☺️)

Feeling very called out on the Twitter example. Or I would, if I weren't in the middle of calling myself out for it. I can definitely say a lot of these work, and some combine in interesting ways. For example, I found my voice early on to be more of a dry style with a focus on analysis, which ended up streaming a lot of randomizers. However, I know that if I started doing multi-person streams, the energy I'd end up bringing there wouldn't be what people expect, and it wouldn't be sustainable for solo streams, so it's generally not the best of ideas. Change is especially important. You may lose a few viewers in the interim by moving away from what you were doing, but especially if it starts grating on you, everyone will be able to tell you aren't having fun with it anymore, and anyone coming for you will be happy to see you doing something you genuinely enjoy.
@xTwoShoes3 жыл бұрын
For sure bud! Adapting to your channels growth is super important:) A lot is just having the courage to try new things and if they arent working going back to the drawing board:) But it's all about taking that step. Best of luck friend!

Whenever putting out my go-live tweet or making my title, if I'm playing games like the sims 4 I'll say "ARE YOU READY TO BURN HOUSES?" Or if I'm playing Here Comes Niko I'll do titles like "NIKO'S COMING." Not sure if those reallly help me get more viewers but comedy is comedy

I made sure all that stuff in the bio was done before I streamed even the first time. Now I have to work on getting above the 1 live view on Twitch. We hit about a dozen per stream on FB by co streaming, but we have to translate those views to Twitch instead. That has been the hard part. Discoverability is now what my crew is working on, that and taking less breaks. Gotta quit smoking so I walk away from stream less.

The discoverability on Twitch is abysmal, so many channels drowned by so many more channels that drown them... unless you're a hyperactive kid that screams "Guys! Guys! Oh my God, GUYS!" every half second, or you're one of the attractive people cashing in on those perfect chiseled features, or a semi-pro gamer with skillz at one of the billions of "battle royal" games, you aren't going to get popular. Being a variety channel is the worst... some viewers show up just for one game, and then shun you like you're a leper if ever you DARE to play anything else. Niche games are a double edged sword, and attract a following (for a small time game of only 128 viewers), but again, as soon as you change it up, you're toast. Just play whatever you want, no one is going to care either way, and you will be a lot less stressed when your channel is a total wash with 1 or 3 average viewers... if people like you they will be there for you, not your game.

What I think as a streamer. Viewers don't read your panels, or titles or anything usually ha ha . Streaming on Twitch with so many others you can't be found. Variety is usually bad since you may get a viewer and then when you finish it and start a new game, they leave. From what I see, people do stick with just one game or at least all I've seen, viewers just wanting to watch one game. Had so many say oh your playing my game and watch. then once you play not that game they're gone. Realize you can be the best streamer ever but if you can't get people to find you , you won't grow. Having someone/big channel help you, or know some incredible networking skills you will have a difficult time growing. I have a difficult time networking and getting people just to find me since it's algorithms. I have 0 viewers so Twitch will put me on the bottom of the search IF you search for the game I'm playing that night. Super rare to find me right? I hope @xTwoShoes does stop by on my channel.

I have the same 10-15 people watching every time but I think they’re bots or something because they’re there almost instantly, say nothing, and their accounts are relatively new. I think the big problem is that most people gravitate to the streams that are already big since they’re the top of the page options. Why watch a dead chat steam and try to engage with almost no one when someone with hundreds of viewers has a lively chat already

Hey so I have been having trouble figuring out how to change it up I play another game on the weekends and on the weekdays the same game I stream 3 days a week and it was working for the first few months but now I’m at like 7 - 12 viewers on average in my chat they come back and I well my biggest fear is I will never grow past this amount of viewership but also that these people might leave me my discord is more popular than my twitch chat ppl are talking in there a whole bunch just ppl from my streams
