lowkey Centers are the strongest lineman to recruit - they're stats are more frequently off the charts. I scout ALL players in one of my offline leagues and it's really helped me get a sense of player parameters/statistics/how often you see absolute freak shows, and what positions and archetype they are usually.

Jason kelce even said that center is the position you hide your weakest OLineman at on the line (referring to real football), so it’s definitely realistic for the game and real life

I've got a 6' 6" 5-star wideout & he plays all of that height! By far my most capable player and one of the best players in the nation. Runner-up for Heisman his first two seasons. I'm in a user league and other users won the Heisman both times.

You gotta remember that position comes out in Nickel/Dime. So, essentially it adds another coverage guy if the play has the end playing a zone.

If it’s anything like Madden, which I’m sure it’s exactly the same. Run block Pass block finesse Pass block power are the only three that matter.also impact block and lead block do as well but pass block and run block finesse and power don’t matter

Also, would love a closer look at the height on WRs. I find you get away with a lot more passes over the middle and deep middle with the taller deep threat guys. Not necessarily on 1 on 1s. Just seems 50/50s are no bueno regardless

There was a madden idr which one but the Center you wanted a high awareness because it helped out the rest of the line with combo blocks picking up blitzes (calling out blitz assignments) but idk if it is the same in CFB. So I make sure I keep it that way as much as I can. The OL in this game transfer in this game too much for me.

@@KALICOE I run 3 RB rotation and the ball is spread out amongst everyone so I don’t get 1,000 RB had a 1,500 yard wr once because he was super fast. I usually in really close games so depth don’t really get too much playing time. I m getting two new coordinators. They both have scheme gurus that are are OCs so I’m hoping it doubles up on my OL attributes to the ground and pound tearing down the other team fatigue for every 4+ yard rush. OL hold their blocks longer. I’m Mid Tennessee State right now but UAB i couldn’t keep anyone on the team I lost so many people I couldn’t even recruit enough to offset the number of people leaving.

Them high balls its seems like it needs to be tuned. None of them come down with those balls. The big guys will get to the balls tho vs the shorter guys. I personally think size matter. I struggled with GA and SEC teams at WKU until I started getting bigger on the OL and DL

Not sure it matters in CFB 25 or not, but taller linemen are great for tackles cause they have longer arm spans and reach for edge rushers, your interior guys, usually centers are shorter, giving them lower centers of gravity vs hefty interior lineman. 6'5 270 for a lineman is awkward cause you want a heavier anchor outside, but I'd think you'd want a shorter, lower center of gravity inside. Maybe he's a guard instead of a center?

ATH QBs/speedy WR to RB is the play as well. So is stacking 2nd tier of Architect - and using Power Backs - sometimes they'll break their speed caps and you have a freak show power back with 99 speed/acc.

Don’t recruit power offensive lineman. They can never upgrade pass block footwork or run block footwork. So whatever that is when you recruit them, it’ll never get better. I also like to swap archetypes for Dlineman between 1st and 2nd string when possible. 1st string LE speed rush, 2nd string LE power rusher. Or vice versa. As the Oline beats their move types, it helps to swap back and forth between types with auto subs. Otherwise the RT is gonna be going against nothing but speed rushers and he’ll adapt and beat those finesse moves more easily.

Pbf is finesse. Power guys won’t be focusing on finesse in training.

@@peterbentin1395 if you look at the rating caps for a power lineman usually, but not always their caps for finesse moves never reach a high ratings nor are the points cheap enough to upgrade efficiently. The ratings have to level to get badges and if the ratings are capped so are the badges associated.

LT needs 6f5 minimum speed 70+ pass blocking rating 85+ LG 6f2 minimum strenght 88 minimum Center 6f2 to 6ft5 max low strenght is ok if he's weak Rg same LG except pass blocking can be low RT IDEALLY 6FT7 PLUS WEAK PASS BLOCKING.290 lbs minimum ideeally over 300lbs
