Setting our mind to focus on the content, I try to ask 5 to 10 questions , so that my mind will be looking for answers , ( lot of time I watched passively ) 1. **What are the four steps recommended for improving focus according to Chris Bailey's book "Hyper Focus"?** 2. **How does the author suggest overcoming the initial resistance to hyper-focus, and what are the key considerations for choosing an activity to focus on?** 3. **Why is awareness emphasized as the first step in enhancing focus, and how does it contribute to catching distractions more effectively?** 4. **In the context of scatter focus, what are the recommended activities during breaks, and why is it essential for replenishing mental energy?** 5. **How does the concept of scatter focus contribute to creativity, and what are the author's suggestions for fostering creativity through scatter focus?**

🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation: 00:00 🎯 Understanding the Importance of Focus - Average focus lasts only 40 seconds; frequent distractions lead to unproductive days. - Chris Bailey's book "Hyper Focus" addresses the need to focus on the right things. - Developing awareness is the first step to improving focus. 01:37 🧭 Focusing with Intention: A Four-Step Guide - Step 1: Use an hourly timer to become aware of your focus patterns. - Step 2: Choose what to focus on by considering significance, the rule of three, challenge level, and task breakdown. - Developing awareness positively impacts your ability to catch distractions. 03:42 🚀 Initiating Hyper Focus - Hyper Focus won't be easy initially; attention may drift, which is normal. - Overcoming initial resistance involves starting with short focus periods and celebrating small victories. - Paying attention to your time excuses and recharging are essential for sustaining focus. 05:17 🌙 The Role of Sleep and Scattered Focus - Proper sleep is crucial for sustaining focus and overall well-being. - Scatter Focus (unfocusing) is essential for creativity and generating new ideas. - Rich experiences and a variety of activities contribute to a more creative mind. 07:38 🔄 Benefits of Scatter Focus - Scatter Focus can be done anywhere, anytime, providing a mental break. - Activities during scatter focus should be low effort, habitual, and personally enjoyable. - Scatter Focus replenishes mental energy, enhancing the ability to hyper-focus on critical tasks. So my minor problem with all these types of advice. The little things still need to get done. They tend to be the things that don’t get you promoted but will get the place you work at in trouble say during a quality or financial audit. So all the people who focus on the promotable things are seen as the people move up. But what about all the little things, pieces and bits they don’t do, who is doing that work? These book seem to not address them. Well the none promotable people end up picking up those pieces and keep the company going, passing audits quality checks etc. The promotable people tend to not stick around anyway. So management love those people, cause they are focusing on the right things so they promote those people. Those same people also tend to change or leave jobs every 2-5 years. So they leave a huge mess of incomplete work behind. Where is the book about that. There is none. Cause in reality none one wants to admit they are leaving a big mess of incomplete work behind. Because they want the accolades for doing the right things and being promoted. I have seen it so much in my 30+ years. So many people get the exposer etc of doing the right things that they get promoted and then in a couple years are gone. But then I am left filling in the blanks cleaning up the mess and keeping the place going. I am like 80% of the employees out there.

Let's don't go into people. What about YOU? Just YOU. This video talks about getting the important things done and not just doing only the important things ✍️. You need to do the important things FIRST before the little that is what makes them IMPORTANT 👍. One thing that I have learned when it comes to advice is that YOU need to know when to use it and when not to use an advise 🙂. And also what are good advice is like. I believe that we all know what's good and what is bad. We just have to strictly and exactly different it. Every advice always has a fault (when it isn't applicable) except when the fault is said along with the advice 🤔. Those who are truly smart would know when and when not to use an advice and find it's faults. I hope this message was helpful ❤️. And sorry if you feel unappreciated in your work or anything you are doing for others 🥰

You do great videos but this one it's a time losing one. And just to think about, you already published all what wise people said. Everything else is time losing nonsense. Loved you're videos about what others said, but... Never crossed your mind; what's too much is enough?
