How does a 15% body fat percentage actually look? And why do some people not have abs when they are at a lean 15% body fat? Learn all about this in today's video! As always, if you have any questions, let me know💪

Definitely appreciate you being transparent about filming after you're pumped and in great lighting vs without the pump in normal lighting.

This is the best and most honest video i’ve watched so far … thank you !!!

It's so important to see things like this. It's terrible that we have gotten so used to believing that plastic surgical enhancements, lighting, photo filters, and supplements like growth hormone and steroids are what a "normal" body looks like (mike thurston is not an example of a natural physique for instance). It can really wreak havoc on even the most confident person's thoughts. There literally are no cheats or shortcuts, and we need to embrace our genetics and find the best things that work specifically for us to look our best with realistic expectations🙂

There are no shortcuts indeed. Thank you!🙏🏼

Perhaps one of the points made in the video is the best way to start the conversation. If someone asks why they can't see abs at 15% body fat, first ask "What do you imagine 15% body fat to look like?" The problem may be entirely perception, and nothing else.
@bencehorvath5020Ай бұрын
Let's be honest, most people who think they're 15% are not even 20.

@@iWannaBurnFathey man I have a question I’m 156 pounds 5’8 male and am 20.2% body just got it tested today? But I think at that low of a weight my body fat should be lower? Is that ok to be under 160 at 5’8 20% body fat? Thank you have a great day

This is the video I've been longing to see. It describes exactly the way I am and has motivated me to do more weighted abb exercises. You have confirmed what I was sort of thinking so thank you so much for keeping me on the right path. I want to see my abbs a bit but not get shredded so this is a great way to do it. Really you've made an excellent video thank you

Cables are great for ab training. I also like cable knee raises for hip flexor strengthening

Yes they are!💪🏼

Cables are very easy to install in a home gym with a pulley system. Great recommendation in your videos.

Great video Mounir , Can you please share your overnight protein oats recipe . or you prefer cooked or overnight soaked oats?
@iWannaBurnFatАй бұрын
Yes, great idea! I will look into sharing that recipe in a future video (probably will post it on my Shorts).

Yh i noticed that many people don't really know what they're talking about and keep saying abs are only made in the kitchen . Well trained abs appear more so it's both .

I'm one of those who can see the outline of my abs at 25% but i have a tough time gaining muscle and bulking, there's always a tradeoff.
@AyaanKhan-yr4zyАй бұрын
A really random query i have been goin to the gym for 3-4 months so im practically in a newbie gains phase ik people recomend body recomp since im kinda skinny fat but have a bit of muslce too but what if just do a agressive mini cut of 4-5 weeks while still lifitng heavy wieghts and maintaining the strength and esting enough protein will i get rod of the unnecessary fat and get to 22-15% bodyfat and then i can do a maingain or a lean bulk with 100-200 surplus long phase is that possible? It wud be a huge help if u reply me and feel free to correct me if im wrong?love from india🇮🇳

When you say crunches and leg raises are “great” do they still contribute to ab growth if you take it to failure?
@iWannaBurnFatАй бұрын
If you train them close to failure, yes. The tricky part is that eventually you may need to go very high in reps (30+ reps) to get close to muscle failure, which is not efficient. So for long-term progress, I recommend weighted abdominal exercises like a Cable Ab Pulldown and Cable Wood Chops.

Great video with very valid points. However using Mike Thurston as as a prime example is not very relatable as the guy has been using steroids for most of his adult life. Its much easier to achieve or maintain a lower body fat percentage when taking PEDs. Kudos for showing us viewers what you look like without a pump. It shows whats a realistic and achievable goal and how you will look on average. This is attainable in comparison to most of the fitness industry where most of these infuencers are either on the juice, genetically gifted, or both.
@iWannaBurnFat21 күн бұрын
Thank you! I understand, the example was shown simply to portray what having more muscle mass can do. I don't personally know the individual. I appreciate your kind words about the video! :)

Okay, that's cool. But what about abs 24 7 with no pump? What are we aiming for there ?
