I am 30 and i still compare myself to others. Even though i don't scroll on social media (i only use them to communicate with my colleagues), i just go out and see, hear people that they are advancing in their lives and i feel like am so behind at that age. Stable work, relationship, heck, even friendship. I don't have someone to hang out with and have a meaningful conversation. Not gonna lie, am still grateful for things like that i am healthy, i have a car to drive, my studies but still others have accomplished so much more than me. Great video!

First of all thank you for sharing🙌🏼❤️ and I think you are right, others have accomplished so much in many different areas of life and it’s so easy to compare ourselves to them then. But what helps me is understanding that I can’t be better then everyone in everything and finding just one thing that is the most important to me and focusing on that. Like a life goal or passion. And trying to grow that area of my life the most. I know it’s cliché😅

Social media is created to let us spend the more time possible on it so you re really not alone. I am trying myself to spend less time on my phone and god damn it i know it's hard. I actually think replacing little by litlle phone by little object like ( alarm clock, a notebook, an agenda, contact notebook, watch, it's just the map that i think ks the hardest). I think it may help spend less ans less time on it.

"Comparison is the thief of joy." You always see the highlight reel of everyone's lives but you don't really know the reality of things. Sure, get some inspiration from others, but know that your life is unique with unique challenges and unique joys. And BTW, as you mentioned, it's so important to enjoy the journey and not focus just on the destination!
