Tip. DONT NOT overflow the gas. There's a charcoal canister inside that will overfill and give you the check engine light. Very costly repair to have it changed. Charcoal canister is for vapor collection. Smog related. NEVER over fill.

I do love mariachi performances as well, it’s just when it’s blasted from car stereos… that happened a lot, and late into the evening. There is so falling asleep when that happens, I think I was a slight degree traumatized from it 😅🙏 But yes, love the performances when the sentiment behind the art of mariachi can be truly enjoyed 🎶

@@Mrandmrsadventure It's startling for sure, but part of Mexican culture since I was a tiny child going down to my family's Puerto Penasco home on the sea of Cortez, and down to La Paz and other Baja California Sur locations in the early 60's. Heck I live on the east side of Tucson and hear it everyday. It just blends in eventually, but something to consider when thinking of moving there.

With the petrol, it seem like their intent is just make sure you are completely full, but the smell would be annoying. What a wonderfully benevolent thing to share your oranges with the traveler. Ooohhh, I love the way whales approached you all as if to say to their friends, look I touched a human! The sparkling on Drew’s whale was amazing!

I love how those whales came up to you. Whales are intuitive; they can read people very well. It's uncanny. You guys are such loving, generous and positive people; they were attracted to that I think. I loved watching them. Wish I could get back to Mexico, but until I get my knee and shoulder fixed, it's not going to happen. I hate being home bound in the dry, hot and very unfriendly area in AZ where I'm stuck for now. Looking forward to more videos.

Wow, you two outdid yourselves in this video. Highlights: Little Drewisms like with gas etc; Brittany’s excitement as you prepare to whale watch; The WHALES and learning so much about them. I did subscribe to TruEarth’s eco-laundry strips, my husband and I are moving into a tiny mobile home on my grandson & daughter’s farming property and will share a washing machine and dryer in a small space, so they will be perfect. It was fun seeing your parents hosting Tread the Globe. I watch VanWives, too, and was wondering if you knew they were in BAJA. See you two adventurers next time.

Happy Easter, guys! Hope you are well and happy wherever you are now 🙂Yay! I made it back into another episode! I hope you can enjoy the cutting board for many years to come and if/when you wear it out completely, please come back for another one 😘 You really lucked out on the whale tour. I've been on quite a couple and not always are they that special. Still a pity that you didn't get to do the whale shark tour, but that's just another reason to come back. If I understood the lady selling the jam correctly, it was made from pitahaya, which is the cactus that looks like a bunch of small sausages strung together. Not sure how they do it, as it is supposed to be protected, I think, but it's a very useful cactus. We made a paint from it using the roasted 'sausages', sea water and lime (the chalky stuff, not the green citrus). We painted a large wall with it and it has held up for many many years already (going on 15). Another youtube channel roaming around the Baja. Seems like everyone and their mom has chosen to do Baja KZbin now (Vanwives, Kara and Nate, at least a couple other channels) and I see vans EVERYWHERE now.... It was so good to meet you guys and be able to help out with some things (I hope the dogs don't find out I donated the tennis ball to your cause ;-)) and I hope that our path will cross again somewhere in the future.❤Safe travels, my friends.

Oh wow, the whale experience must have been amazing. So heartwarming! I hope in my lifetime I get to see whales. The thing about mariachi music, you either love it or hate it. When I went to Puerto Vallarta I didn’t hear too much mariachi music, hardly any but when I went to Tucson, Arizona on a business trip with hubby we were inundated with mariachi music at the hotel. It drove my husband nuts, lol! He’s not a fan either. Safe travels lovelies! Another awesome video. 🥰

Love that you shared the whale specialist telling us about the whales. Thank you. I was suprised you touched the fin😳. I just watched 2 other you tubers that did whale watching there.. And they were told do not touch the eyes, blow hole, fins, lower back to tail and fluke.. Because orcas attack them on the fins, lower back and fluke...so that can stress/frighten the grey whales.

We were just ahead you heading North. The reason for the busy gas stations was Samana Santa. Lots of people heading for the ocean to camp and celebrate! Gas/diesel was higher at Santa Rosalia and Guerrero Negro. It drops as you get to San Felipe and border.

I knew immediately you were at Orlandos. So funny - when we were driving north last time, our biggest time goal was making it to Loreto in time to have dinner at Orlandos. This was right after we were vaccinated last year and we took my daughters friend with us to our home in Pescadero for 6 weeks in April - we were driving back just a few weeks later than you are. She was all excited that our family, like hers, planned our trip around favorite food stops ;-) I love that road trip - I may become a vlogger - although it would embarrass the heck out of my kids - as the next time we plan to make the drive in our eagerly awaited extended range Rivian. It may make the fears about missing the last gas station seem tame - and it could very well make for some interesting youtube content ;-)

Was laughing because on our trip north we were at a stop for almost 10 minutes while the soldiers chatted with my daughter and her friend who was driving at the time and in the front seats - supposedly “helping” them improve their Spanish. Probably had nothing to do with them being two lovely 17 year old young women ;-) We also had a LONG line behind us.
