Love this idea! I actually started a "lonely journal" this past week with the same thought in mind -that I needed one place for specific notes about my one project that I was doing! Recently I decided that I was going to take a few weeks of time and focus on eliminating a lot of stuff in each room of my house. I also want to change things up a bit and redecorate certain rooms to spiff them up. I am trying to become more of a minimalist in my life be reducing the complexity of my living space (so it is easier to clean) and yet still have some nice accents (throw pillows and wall art) so that it doesn't look like I'm about to move out of my house. So my "lonely journal" that I started this past week is going to have 1-2 pages dedicated to each room of my house. I plan to write two lists for each room. The first list will be "What is not working in this room!" This list will have things on it like "Too much stuff, Odd furniture layout, Needs a better color scheme, etc." The second list will be "What I Need to do to Address the Problems in This Room!" This list will have things like "Get rid of the ratty armchair and buy a new one, Change out the art on the wall (maybe paint a new picture?), Sort through extra stuff in the room and donate some items." It seems like dedicating a specific notebook to this home task makes sense. Thank you so much for your videos! Love your ideas! I am so glad I read your comment, @crystallevin because I have lived with so much of my parents’ belongings since they died 10 & 8 years ago, as well as THINGS I had accumulated trying to figure out MY style & mood for my home. I am going to do just what you suggested. Brilliant! I really think this will help me. Thank you very much for sharing this. And thank you @carsonial for your channel. I have binge watched for 3 days when I had pockets of time -immediately ordered a space own,dotted XL Moleskine & field notes. I’ll be ordering a few of this size so I’ll have at least 3 lonely notebooks. Subscribed!

Yeah…been doing that for years. It’s a good idea. I did with it Molekine Caheirs and regular notebooks. Just started doing it with Filed Notes

I love the idea of this. It is similar to the main reason for not journaling on your phone, too many chances of getting distracted.

I like the idea of a traveler notebook as well. I have a larger one and I'm thinking about going to a smaller size to fit in my sling bag. And cigars!!!!! Now I have to ask, do you have cigar journal?

I like this idea, but how do you organize your pocket notebooks when ur done. & to find them while ur using them. How do u keep track of it all?

I use my Field Notes to write down my day and thoughts. The other for planning my day
