I finally found my winter signature style! Jeans, turtleneck, blazer and boots. Now I just need to work on the changing seasons and how to adapt this to hot Texas summers!

I’m a dress girl- love shirt dresses the most but when it’s really cold I go for sweater dresses and when it’s really hot, I go for t-shirt dresses. Black tights and booties in the cold months and bare legs and block heeled sandals in the warm months.

This is wonderful advice. For me it’s figuring out what that style is. My life style goes from working with students one-to-one which involves messy supplies such as; dry erase markers and paint to meeting with psychologist and parents. Then it’s home to make dinner, do yard work and walk the dogs. Also I live where we have four distinct seasons and our summers are very hot and humid. Does anyone else have trouble figuring out a style uniform?

It's worth it! :) You have can more that one 'formula' so have in mind different ones for different situations and days.

Love this! I simplified my work wardrobe to about 7 dresses all of which work with the same shoes and I just washed and rotated. I always feel good but I don't need to stress about it. If one is getting tired I put a new one in the mix. It makes life run so much more smoothly when you are busy.

Yes!!! This is so insightful. A ‘uniform’ of sorts. I love this idea because for me having a ‘silhouette’ that suits my body shape is what really works for me. Then it’s just a matter of the same form but in varying colours.

Money! Saves money too - I must have spent thousands over the years on items that I liked the look of, but that just didn’t fit into my signature style of monochrome and stripes, which I always come back to.

It’s been helpful to figure out I don’t really prefer shirt sleeves in between the shoulder and the elbow. I either want totally sleeveless or 3/4 and down. And having a color palette helps too

Great topic! I retired and now I’m revamping and trying to create a completely different style as I’m going from suits to sweats and I let my hair go grey during pandemic. Feel like a whole new person and vibe. My biggest struggle is when I’m shopping to not buy workwear style pieces. I have a bunch of clothes I’m not wearing. This is inspiring thanks for video 🦋

I always wear black trousers. Then I can play around with different tops. I have done that since I was 20 (now I´m 46) and it has worked really well for me. Sitting by a desk all day people can only see my top anyway :-D

Very interesting advice. For me, having a signature style is more about the pleasure of being true to my personality more than saving time. I don’t mind spending quality time on getting dressed and feeling good.

Brilliant Eve Chegaray. Thanks for sharing, this is an excellent point and I totally agree. Having a signature style gives confidence in oneself and in owning your own look.

That’s a great advice! My signature style is round neck basic shirt like the one you wear in the video. Could be short or long sleeve and different colors or even patterns so it never looks the same. I just find it very convenient for every situation ☺️

This is good advice for woman returning to work, after furlough, I will prepare soon, put a few outfits together with accessories ( usually scarf) as think just getting back to it full on will take strength and time enough ;-)

This is style efficiency 😛 I’ve read many leaders do this. It frees up mental space for other things.

I love fashion and have a signature style, so I always think that “ I have way too much clothes “, in my case it is mostly black and white/ monochrome just because I am only 4’11( thank heavens that I am very proportional “, if I could I would help others find what works for them, thanks for your videos, love them xo

That all sounds really smart and sensible, but for me, also boring as hell. What you say, Lizzie, makes sense, but I feel this robs me of the pleasure of wearing something surprising :)

Thanks for sharing, and no it's not for everyone. If you love clothes and variety it would be boring, but the clients I meet aren't that ointo clothes and find simplicity freeing :)
