2:31 has hit spot on for me with syncopation. Its my first day using a jazz III coming from a torex .73 (probably 3 hours of messing with it) and for whatever reason my ascending chromatic exercise of going 4-3-2-1 from high e to low e has tightened up substantially. Big fan so far!

Heck yes! That rules. Yeah there are some days where if I want to work on my lead picking articulation and I can’t find a jazz III laying around, I don’t even bother 😂 That pick makes a big difference

No mention about what material (each version of the jazz pick you showed) they are made of?

When I play shows if I don’t have a Jazz 3 I start freaking out. Once you adjust to it playing with a traditional style pick feels like playing with a credit card

Anthony Garone has a great video on types of picks on his " Failure to Fracture" series, do he focuses more on the Guitar craft pick, i think this is a really cool topic.

Yeah he seems cool. I’m going to watch some of his stuff. He seems particularly into Fripp!

I too like the Jazz III. But I recently bought the new Rock III. I really like it.

@@EricBourassa They’re stiffer but I really do like the feel and how they stack the strings.

never had an issue with the grippy jazz pick catching strings
