Brilliant cars especially with that gated manual. I keep looking at these and very tempted to buy though not sure my budget would run to a V10. Not really a fan of powerful front engines Audi's as though they mostly have great engines and look the part, all the weight in the nose usually means a lot of understeer.

I agree, an itch that needs to be scratched one day., Trouble with driving a lightweight car is that you get used to the bonus of sensible running costs - the R8 recalibrates that as you found out on the fuel never mind the rest of the ownership costs. Still, for that noise,......Cheers, Kevin

Honestly prefer the 1 Gen over the new R8. It has a body style so far ahead of the future , I know sounds kinda dumb to some people . But seriously just look at the curves and the customization alone that you can do with the R8.

I like the video's you've been making,but,too much talking to the camera, I would prefer some more voice over with shots of the car and engine drive by sounds. Still interesting to listen to, and it's refreshing to see actual enjoyment from your driving. Keep em coming.

I'm looking for a v10 manual to replace my evora S it has about half the storage space which is a concern since I like to do long trips abroad. alternatively I am considering a 997 turbo but that's a bit of a downgrade since its boring and common
