Hello, my name is Adel. I am a fan of watercolor printing. I have been following you for a while. You are very good. We wish you all the best. I have a question that has confused me. I have worked on many materials, but the glass was the only obstacle. Please tell me what type of material and product is used for the initial coating before diving so that the film will stick to it, because when I wash the glass, it pulls away from me and slides. I have to paint it and I want to maintain the transparency of the glass. Therefore, I want a transparent coating before diving. Can you help me with this? Thank you very much.

If you do a dip and it dont turn out the best and want to redo it do you have to strip everything to bare metal and start over or can you paint right over dip and do it again.

I gotta admit , I paint all my stuff and let it dry 4x days befor I dip them and I've NEVER had an issue with it not sticking..it sticks so well I can't get it off. like , if I miss a spot I'd have to sand it all off as it sticks that well. I only use either rusteolum or krylon highgloss Grey or nardo Grey

Does this mean dipping clear polycarbonate is impossible ? I'd like to dip so the dip is on the backside and visible through the 1/8" polycarbonate. Is there a clear that would bond to both the poly and the dip would also bond to ? Maybe if the clear was still tacky just before dipping ?

Would the hydrographics stick by just keying the helmet with glass paper and not painting it with a base coat?

No it wont. You need to make sure you apply a base coat down first to make sure you get the proper adhesion before dipping the part.

Does it work if you sand or scuff the clear coat and then dip it? I do a lot of motorcycles and airbrush work. If I wanted to incorporate hydro dipping on a paint job would I have to do the dipping first or could I clear coat previous work, sand it down, tape it off and then dip?? Or re-spray a base coat before dipping?

Hello, after applying the film to the object, it slips, does not stay on the object. What is the reason for that? I use: 1. I clean the object 2. Plastic primer 3. Acrylic paint for cars 4. Water temperature 28-32 degrees Celsius Am I wrong somewhere?

It sounds like a paint issue. If the print is not adhering to the paint then the paint is not compatible.
