I think landing softly is kind risky too i think theres a balance to it yes you have to ollie as high as you need not to over ollie it but also pushing your weight down on the rail is key to feeling comfortable and balanced on the rail

Go faster, land square & glide on to the rail, if you miss you're f**ked just like most trick in skateboarding lol 🎉🎉🎉🎉
