Your videos are just what I have been looking for. My daughter, much like you, just started doing pageants at the age of 15. We are having a blast, and she has done very well. She has competed in nine pageants, having won two of them, and finishing in 1st or 2nd place in six, and 3rd in the last one. Our problem is she doesn't want to practice. The three judges from her last pageant said she was the total package, but at times she lacked confidence. I'm hoping that she will watch your videos and implement what you are teaching. Thank you!!!

Well I don't think after being fully prepared and organised there are 100% chances of your winning ! It's always great to come prepared and passionate and give your 100% you can go ahead but winning is still not guaranted! So never go in a pageant with the vision of winning it there are always chances but no one really knows !

Thank you for the tips Crystal. You are absolutely amazing!!! Often I wonder, what does one mean by "the look"? I sometimes feel like I cannot win pageants because I am 5"2, even though the organizations say that all heights are welcome. I have won pageants before, because I believe it is about standing out not standing tall :) That being said how often do you see a Miss World who is under 5"4

Should we must have a perfect teeth too? I have seen somewhere that perfect teeth also matters in pageant. What do you think about this mam?
@CrystalClues
@CrystalClues 4 жыл бұрын
Right now having straight and white teeth is still a mainstay in the traditional Western standard for beauty. It’s a pretty big part of the overall smile. But I’ve seen contestants with braces win before (esp as teenagers) because they are just so engaging and their energy is so dynamic, youthful, and I personally think the braces are cute. But I’ve also seen modeling competitions where the model who wins didn’t even smile much with her mouth open... So it just depends on the style of the contest and the vibe you’re going for. But overall a lot of female Hollywood celebrities end up getting corrective treatments or even veneers (fake teeth put on top of their real ones) at least on the top 4-6 visible teeth to get that dazzling bright smile. In a few years the requirement of having perfect white straight teeth might change though! Our culture is always changing. Sometimes all it takes is one high profile role model to “break through” and normalize a trait. If you don’t have perfect teeth and can’t get it fixed, or don’t want to, maybe you embrace that- and you become the first!

Hi mam ....you are doing an amazing work!! Thanks a lot from the bottom of ours heart. Plz could u make a video on how to make an everyday schedule for yourself ....how much weightage should be for what?
@CrystalClues
@CrystalClues 3 жыл бұрын
Hi! Thank you so much for the suggestion to make a schedule video. This one is a little tougher because everyone follows a different schedule and the most I could recommend is to implement some sort of discipline into your daily habit. But whether you go to school or are now working, there are some universal rules to everybody’s day, and here would be my biggest points: 1) In the morning try to fit in some sort of cardio exercise. If you can’t do morning then afternoon would work too. I personally like to avoid night time because it limits the hours of having a raised metabolism. You burn more calories over the whole day if your exercise was accomplished earlier in the day. 2) plan your eating schedule and shift it to earlier. I stop eating after 8 PM in the 4-6 weeks before a pageant. It helps me lean down. 3) make time before bed to visualize or meditate on what the pageant will feel like. Mental preparation is key and will help with nerves and anxiety.
