I think my biggest fear is not finding the right people to support me in my business, not like family of friends but people who would work for or with me. My other fear is launching and it not being up to the standards I like once it’s public .🤷🏾♀️
@TaraLeee4 жыл бұрын
I can totally relate to the fear of not being able to find the right people to work for you. I fear that if my business becomes to much for me to handle on my own I won't be able to find the right person to hire. But I'll probably never grow that large anyways. lol To help you out on your second fear, I don't think anything is ever perfect at first launch. What matters is if it's to your standards. :)

@@TaraLeee hi there.. I love your videos and hopped on this one before my launch. Cause I'm terrified... If I may ask why did you say your business won't be big anyway? Is it because of choice or?.. This part made me nervous as I'd like for my business to be a success

Thank you! I needed this video today. Over here, still in bed at 11 am (usually up by 7:30), unmotivated to start the day. The embarrassment piece resonated with me. It's reassuring that someone like you with your wonderful success & progress feels that way too. Thank you for your honesty.

I just found out about your channel yesterday, and boy oh boy i have been binge watching everything! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge you’re a blessing to e -commerce small business owners like me ,we have the same niche :) All the struggle and the battling yourself whether you should start one is REAL, but you just have to push everyday and be smart- optimistic- and the key ingredient is to plan ahead. Also, starting your own business is way harder than being an employee, bec you yourself do the marketing, the manufacturing, and all the admin stuff and behind the scenes, it’s a one man show, until the time you grow your business in order to hire an assistant. Thanks so much for being an inspiration and someone i can relate to, i quit my 8-5 job ( bec it felt like its not my purpose in life to be there, so i pursued my passion HARD. Got to a point i was doing nothing for 3 months trying to figure out what to do and feeling a bit lost and depressed) but then i grew the courage and started my business a yr ago btw im from the philippines. Thank you and more power to you!

I’m scared of the financial aspect being a single mom. Getting a cosmetic chemist because I don’t want a private label, I want to create mine and have ownership of the formulas I create. I live in the US and it’s so much cheaper in China so figuring all that out is stressful and cost money.

oh yes! This is bound to happen no matter what. People have reactions to things everyday. This is why I always advice to have insurance and making your company an LLC is the best way to make sure you are covered just in case someone tried to sue you.

Taree I can't believe you responded.🤯 Honestly, you've been like a mentor for me through all of your videos even though you said you don't want to get big you deserve all the success. Like all the videos helped me realize a lot of stuff I need to get done and where you get wholesale ingredients, two things that I really struggled with. I really can't thank you enough and it's so beneficial to know that I have someone I can look up to and reference in the KZbin community. I've always wanted to be a formulator but I thought I had to go to school for it. This channel taught me you just have to have a passion for it. I also really love the fact that that you mentioned fear and not feeling worthy because when I found your channel I thought I couldn't understand formulating or what everything does and why it's important to do it that way. It is what made me hesitant to try but after binging all your videos it just clicked. Thanks again.

Question :how did you figure out your packaging? These days things have to be aesthetically pleasing in order for consumers to buy. One thing I'm scared about is spending all this money on planning, formulas, packing, launching and marketing only for people to not even want my product
@otomedeer9543 жыл бұрын
Thanks for sharing this❤ It's the same for me for the fear of embarassment, failure, and success (ikr its contradicting). For the embarassment part it truly hits home. Especially when close relatives (not my close fam) ask me what im doing rn. I'm currently a freshgrad and honestly (no bragging here truly) came from reputable university in my country. I dont know what people expect from me but staying at home and starting a small business is not one. At every single event of my big family, i always get asked repeatedly. I understand that i should've started entering the workforce but covid pandemic just sucks and i didnt get accepted to companies who have specific divisions that my major specialized. So now im super stressed whether to start my business first or enter the workforce with roles i know i dont and wont like..
