Great video. I watch several youtube videos on how to trade in the market but haven't made any headstart because they are either talking some gibberish or sharing their story of how they made it and I do not want to make mistakes by taking risks in my own hands.

The most important thing that should be on everyone mind currently should be to invest in different sources of income that doesn't depend on the government. Especially with the current economic crisis around the word. This is still a good time to invest in various stocks, Gold, silver and digital currencies.If your financial understanding is lacking, see a financial consultant.

Reason i decided to work closely with a brokerage adviser ever since the market got really tense and the pressure became too much. I should be retiring in 17 months, so I've had a brokerage adviser guide me through the chaos. It's been 9 months now, and I've made approximately 650K net from all of my holdings.

I've shuffled through investment coaches and yes, they can be positively impactful to an individual's portfolio, but do your due diligence to find a coach with grit, one that withstood the 08' crash. For me, “Teresa L. Athas” turned out to be better and smarter than all the advisors I ever worked with till date, I’ve never met anyone with as much conviction.

I'll make it simple for new traders: Check the market for a gap. If you don't know what a gap is, it's easy. It's literally a gap in price action from the close of the previous day to the open of the current day (8pm and 4am). They will show up on most charts 1hr or less. If you find one, bet that it's going to fill. Ex: if the stock gaps down, bet on it going up and vice versa. You'll win 80% of the time.

Alr so a gap is a difference of price from the previous day to the present? and if the price goes down you bet that its going to rise and vice versa?
@bagboybrown10 күн бұрын
@Midnight__Chills u have to watch the PM action but if it looks like it's printing lower highs I bet on a gap fill. AVGO gapped up hard on earnings so I'll be watching that tomorrow morning for selling pressure. I imagine all these people up 50x on their options will wanna secure profits

As far as my knowledge in trading goes: that what he is talking about in the video is called the power of 3. I don't remember the names of all the phases but it goes something like this: 1 the market makes a small (or a little bigger) move to one direction collecting some liquidity. 2 Then it moves drastically in the opposite direction. 3 Then the it makes a small retracement to the direction where it came from and it closes. In this short video it's a bearish example. 1 Price moves up, making everybody think it is reversing to the upside. 2 It then goes way lower and creates a bearish red candle. 3 It then creates a small lower wick on the red candle by retracing a little and the candlestick closes. Works best on daily timeframe and higher. By the way you don't have to trade exactly the way how TradingLab showed it. You can also wait for a market maker model to show up or a market structure shift or something else like that to confirm that the retracement has ended. Search online or on YT: ICT power of 3 to learn more.

Based on the chart being the daily, you were waiting for price to go above the opening price of the day before. The opening price of the current day would be the candle with the wick, but you put the line on the opening price on the candle from the day before. Please clarify. I want to make sure I fully understand what you are saying.

Let's make this simple to understand... There are zones where limit orders (buy or sell) that have been unfilled and the algos will try to chase and fulfill those orders. Don't rely on it too much as orders can be retracted or options hedging can be adjusted (ie. Delta/Gamma hedging)

I think i understood. Let's pick the bearish example. When he say that you want to trade above the opening price of the candle,he meant specifically that you want to hit the FVG first then follow up the bearish trend. Same goes with bullish. You want to hit the FVG below the opening price of the candle. Beginners would think (hypochrite of my part cuz i am one lol) that it would be like a support or something but nope,that was his example. That line actually could act like a breaker block btw

This might look like a wick into a zone for some, or a stop loss hunt to others, basically it’s a liquidity grab to fill orders at a certain spot that didn’t really get filled before, it’s basically a reserve discount spot for later when someone dosnt want to sit through the ENTIRE move that took 35 hours and now retraced to your entry and gave you second thoughts

There are so many videos out there. Just look up ICT & ICT students. They'll teach you in minutes. Goodluck in trading. It's not an easy endeavor. If there is any advice I can give you in seconds is, whenever you're in profit, let's say you entered a trade at a low after liquidity is swept, then once in profit long, when price reaches the first swing high on the m1, take at least 50% profit & let your trade run. If you do this, you'll be way more successful than most. Take it from a 6 year veteran of trading.
