Hello. Do you still have it? Good buy?? I'm doing the exact same thing! Picking up my Fiesta (ST3 in black & just under 22,000 on the clock) by the end of this week. Can't wait! Have had to wait till I'm the ripe old age of 44 though which is why I'm finding the owner of this Fiestas review a bit of an under-appreciated piece of poo! His parents must be thinking, "where did we go so wrong?" watching this. Apart from the numpty in the passenger seat I enjoyed this review.

@@burntcrumpets5616 Yes i do! I absolutely love the bean, no problems except for some engine mount noises when cold. Maintenance and repairs are relatively cheap and driving it is just a blast at all speeds.

Nice review but I think your style is improving as I just saw the Fiesta MK8 review earlier, which seemed even slicker. I have a MK3.5 FoST and my wife has a MK7.5 FiST and I must say that the FiST doesn't need an LSD (it's got the MP215 package and still doesn't need one). There is light wheel spin only in 1st gear in the wet, else all is good. The best mods are definitely a short shifter, engine mount and braided hoses. There's not a lot else wrong with it from standard to be fair and yes I know that the younger drivers will want STage 2 or 3 (more power!!) but then you are in the realm of needing to have sympathetic upgrades (intercooler, better brake discs, pads). Also MPG is great on the motorway and not bad when you go for a blast down a B road as well. The reason we both got these cars was because we wanted to get as new a near analogue car that we could find without having all the nanny state aids (from '17 reg onwards) and we definitely did not want a flacid heavy hybrid or an immature (tech) and heavy EV. Both these cars we have present an incredibly good 'bang for the buck' and are supreme fun. Keep up the good work.

Mk7 Fiesta ST or FN2?

The FN2 has a lot of potential to be the better car. Its major downside is that it feels heavier, larger, and does not have as much tech as the fiesta. Id prefer an EP3 Type R over the Fiesta or the FN2. Fiestas downside is that its very light on the rear so you can easily throw the car around (good and bad). Seating's a little high too. How would you be using the car?
