She talks about how it is a great substitute for soda and has no sugar. Carbonated water is just as hydrating as flat water, and while it is slightly acidic it is not usually enough to cause a problem. Dr. Janine does recommend watching the fluoride and deuterium content of the carbonated water and ideally looking for water from higher mountain origins rather than coastal regions is best.
