Considering how broken most of the fsn servants are in fgo after being buffed (especially with how Kojiro is an actual demon despite being a 1 star), Medea feels underwhelming by comparison. I really wish her np removed buffs before the damage to validate it's low scaling, but a stupid and hilarious idea I had was to make rule breaker steal enemy buffs instead of just erasing them. Idk if there's a servant that can already do that but it'd be really fun to have that as an option on Medea.

My thoughts on what could work for a second NP buff; I'm hesitant to move the buff cleanse to go off first, I don't think they've changed the order before, so (no matter how much better that would make her) I don't think we should - instead, I'd lean into that "all spells must be broken" thing and stick a self debuff cleanse onto the front of it (I know that's semi-redundant with skill 3, but it does let you then use skill 3 to help a support and still debuff cleanse Medea). Oh, and maybe bring the damage scaling in line with non-buffed Arts ST servants. Looping's a thing anyway, so just let's have Medea do normal damage. Her skills are pretty hard to buff, though. They're all really strong already. Maybe a 1 turn evasion on skill 2, and I think there may be room for something like a 1 turn 20% attack buff on skill 3 in the distant future. Not sure what you'd want to put on skill 1, 80-150% NP is already incredibly strong. But really, there are many servants far more in need of a skill buff than Medea.

I raised her to 120 and 2k Fou and max card enhancements. She needs a figurine (not Lily version). The only character without one.😢 She’s my favorite to give an event damage up CE to to really make her shine. Otherwise, she rocks MLB Black Grail.

I leveled up my Medea ages ago. For a long time, I used her as a single shot boss killer by buffing her with Tamamo and Paracelsus, but now that I have Castoria, the alchemist has taken a back seat. Still a single shot boss killer, especially against Assassins or Berserkers.

My level 90 medea carry my butt off so many times to the point I pretty much would not finish lb 5 without her. It also because I pretty much don't have good support casters until first zhuge liang ticket so every cq and boss battle is a war of attrition

Medea seriously deserves a buff, just…AOE scaling on an ST NP is kind of sad, all they have to do is change the scaling to be ST and maybe buff her 2nd skill to maybe be a 1 turn NP damage up and then Medea’s damage problem could be fixed

When I first started, I really wanted Medea, because she was my favorite from Stay/Night, managed to get her NP 5. Every time I need to deal with an assassin boss, I send in Medea (Black Grail CE), Castoria, and Tamamo. Just bowls through them so quickly.

I wish I had her leveled up for the lotto event we had, would have saved some time. Her damage isn't high but it's good enough with +damage CE and the battery is handy for taking out 1 medium hp'ed single enemy stages.

I think it was some Nerofest quest but she helped out with fighting an army of Hassan's that have one of those "kill their killer on death" buffs or watevr

Conflicted on her, situationally still really good and I remember how useful she was in the past. But those situations come rarely in the modern era of the game. If you asked me 5-6 years ago - easily a top tier 3*, nowadays not so sure. 1st couple of years when we rarely had ways to deal with evasion and invincibility so she was a must. But the amount of CE's that have come (most of which are event ce's so you can't even use the gacha ce argument) have made her unnecessary to deal with those effects. You could just slap one of those on any primary damage dealer and you don't have to deal with her damage output - a combination of poor atk stat +AOE NP multiplier + buff removal applying AFTER damage so you hit for 0 on np vs evade/invul. There's also a lot command codes that removes specific buffs (and I tend to stick those on Waver, Merlin, Castoria, Tamamo and Skadi as I will be bringing them to CQ's). There's also a lot of content with unremovable buffs/unremovable debuffs. When she can make the most of her kit she's awesome for 0 investment. Like literally lvl 1 4/1/1 skills if you desperately need a buff remover on short notice. If they ever buff her it should be Buff removal before damage.

She's kind of got a free slate for them to buff her in the future, I think they could have her be more of a support/utility servant in the future, if they buff some of the effects on S2 & S3.

@@ZTL Honestly I'd hate for them to lean into more of a support role. A lot of the low star support casters are borderline legitimate legends and she'd be competing with them. While there's barely any ST Casters, and while alter egos are a thing (and honestly will be tough to access for new accounts) or you could unga bunga stuff with berserkers it'd be nice to have a legit 3* ST caster. There's basically like 2 available ST casters consistently - Circe and Medea. Sheba is story locked and all the SSR ST casters are limited. Considering the actual lore (not the fate lore) she's a known poisoner, giver her a bonus to poisoned enemies eg Robin would be nice as long as they giver her a way to apply poison or even a bonus vs kids seeing as she poisoned her kids with Jason.

I got her to make above 300k damage with double castoria and black grail. I got her grailed and fou'd too. She can loop more than 3x. The 300k+ damage if when I'm using an MLB black grail or a 100% damage CE. 230k+ with a non-mlb black grail.

Buff/Debuff removal bot. She is very useful in niche but otherwise weak. Her being the only single target caster available among 1~3★ servants is really painful since her damage becomes lacking fast as one advances through the story. I personally think they need to either buff her second skill with some sort of damage buff or give her NP a second upgrade a la Vlad so her NP does somewhat passable damage.

As someone with a level 108 2k fou max first append Medea, I think she’s ok at best. Although she has some utility in her kit, she can’t really act as a support outside of very niche situations, and her damage is lacking, but she’s still usable. Against assassins, my Medea does about 230k damage with double castoria buffs, which is usually just enough to get through a break bar. A level 70 Medea will do less damage than that, even with a level 100 black grail, though it will not be by much if you do have level 100 BG. Her np is very spammable because of its overcharge effect and her good np gain despite her low hit counts, but doesn’t do enough damage unless you dedicate as much resources into her as I did or have a MLB BG. She’s still usable, but her kit is outdated and she’s in desperate need of a buff, since she is the only damage dealer that has no way of increasing their damage outside of Phantom of the Opera.
