I have found 3 Hermes scarves (and several ties) at charity shops. Paid less than £5 each. Hoped they were real. Sold and authenticated with Vestiaire. I have sold scarves better on Vestiaire than other platforms. Keep looking Bethany. You will find one.

Really useful video as I''m just about to sell of Vestiare - am really stuck on the pricing though. For something new and unworn do you have any guidelines re % of the original price? Great channel, does this mean that the buyer assumes all responsibility for postage loss, delay or damage provided you have proof of postage? Do hou ever get returns for anything other than not as described? Do you insure all your deliveries? Many thanks, keep up the good work.

Hi you are not responsible for anything apart from actually sending the item re shipping. This is because as mentioned the buyer not only pays for but chooses the exact shipping method they want. We have only ever had one lost parcel and we were fully compensated by Vestiaire as obviously the tracking showed we had shipped said item and it was no fault of ours. So to answer the questions Vestiaire and not the buyer cover all issues as long as you can confirm the item has been shipped. Hope that makes sense. Thanks for watching 🙌🏻

Give vinted and Vestiaire a go! Vestiaire is not on zipsale yet although it’s in the works. So for now you could sync your ebay and vinted up together and cross list those! Hope this helps 🙌🏻

Hi we post measurements on vintage and luxury pieces as sizes on this kind of item different substantially. Brand, Style and fabric etc! Love poshmark but it hasn’t been officially realised in the uk yet but we are waiting! 🙏🏻 We do use other marketplaces like depop etc This for watching we appreciate you! 🙌🏻

Quick question: I have a Tshirt by Bally and polo shirt by Church's to list. Obviously both brands known for shoes though, would it be worth listing on vestiaire or not as it isn't the main thing that brand sells?

We have sold lots and lots of items and never had an issue…… ever. Vestiaire always cover you if anything happens as long as you can prove a item was shipped using there label. hope this helps

Hi, please I hope that you get to reply with my few questions, I am considering selling on this platform, do you find that designer pieces sell quicker in there than eBay? And when you cross list, do you list with different prices, like say the skirt you just listed would only go for say around 40 on eBay but on Vest you can list it for more? I’m wondering if there are buyers that would then message and say oh why you charging more for this here when I saw you listed it cheaper on the other place, I get afraid with this maybe I won’t cross list lol

Hi! We only list items over £80-100 because of the fee structure. Which is totally ok on the basis that I prefer it to sell more luxury items. Although saying that we have equally as good sales on both accounts for luxury. All our prices are the same across all platforms. And don’t base our ebay prices on ebay comps alone and because of this we are the top comps in many different categories. It just opens up another avenue for your more luxury items to sell quicker or find the right buyer. If that makes sense

Sellers love Vestiare as buyers have little to no recourse for damaged items, incorrect sizes, etc. buyers beware.

Vestiaire has a great returns policy! As a business seller all customers have a time frame for return. And Vestiaire automatically accept them! All you do is send back to the seller and a refund is issued automatically by Vestaire. In the same manner as vinted the buyer has three full days to confirm the item is okay and the sellers money is held until the end of that point. Legal long distance law allows for a return policy however it does vary under the ‘marketplace’ system.

@ wrong again. My personal experience here. V will claim all sales final and refuse any return. You will need to push to the next supervisor level or make a social fuss to get their attention. This is a space for sellers not buyers.

@ if the app didn’t give you three working days to verify your purchase, or mark it as something wrong. Then you need to report it to either trading standards, or the app itself. I have personally sold hundreds of items and bought hundreds of items. I’ve had returns and made returns. I’ve even made returns after the three working days. They offer both a chat serviced, and email. But please also note I don’t work for them, or have any affiliation with them. But your personal issue is something you obviously need to address with the company. Not me.
