Russell, how about with driver? Steve Johnston did a drill with 12 inches back and 3 inches in....to achieve consistent powerful strike....is this same principle? Keep club face looking at ball? Is the head always over the ball? Would you recommend in actual competition play or just as a practice?

The big realisation for me is that the backswing (point A) is a mirror image of the immediate post impact downswing position of the arms. Your last video also emphasised this.

I believe this is how Moe Norman always started his backswings

Yes, he did.

The legendary ball striker, Moe Norman set his club at address back from the ball as well.

You mean you should start with the club head behind the ball opposite the trail foot with the leading edge square to the target line is what I am hearing.

Moved away from conventional golf instruction 3 weeeks ago and went to stack and tilt and my game has moved to a new level. I have wasted 20 years of my golf life watching KZbin instructions and it did absolutely nothing for my golf game. It will fry your brain and have you going round in circles for years. No wonder your not getting any better have you heard the term paralysis by analysis. To much information is killing you game. Stack and tilt is the way to go simple and easy to learn. I have improved more in 3 weeks with stack and tilt than i have done in last 20. years.

Weird, maybe I’m missing something….. but don’t the pros START with the clubclub behind the ball?

Weird, maybe you've never heard of a practice drill?

Moe Norman actually addressed it with the clubhead about 6 inches from the ball

This drill is mainly to help your take-away stay on point, so your not come'n inside or too much outside.

Sarcasm is fun but doesn't help much with the golf swing.

Why can't there be a American person do this kind of golf instructor.
