Liverpool is not traditionally a city where people judge others, but we can immediately tell when you are not from Liverpool, its like a Spidey sense. I can spot a Scouser on holiday from a mile off, I can spot a "wool" a mile off, there is just something very distinct about the way you carry yourself. That can be as simple as a haircut, a specific logo/brand or down to the Nike 110's which is a staple.

I was born in Fazakerley and have lived all over North Liverpool. I have absolutely no idea what the big deal is about wools. I'd rather be a wool living in Crosby than a scouser living in kirkdale. And this is a fine example of one of the many problems with Liverpudlians. This "you're not from round here" attitude is what you expect in a village pub, not a metropolitan city. Still to this day the one city I've been threatened to be stabbed 100% of the times I've been (3 in 3) by some pissed up local who's angry that I had the utter cheek to visit, put money into the city shops an bars and attempt to have a nice, fun night away. Well of course he thinks this about white socks because he doesn't realise he's an adult where he can wear whatever he wants and still acts like he's in year 8 where he has to wear black pants and shoes as part of his uniform. What are you supposed to wear with white trainers? It looks equally as daft with black sock and white shoes as black shoes with white socks. Your socks should match or compliment your shoe colour, not what some man-child on the internet says they should be. If there was ever a time to tell a person grow up, this would be a great time to do it.

5:04 the rugby thing has gone over the heads of the Norwich lads. He's just decribed wools as being from the outskirts of Merseyside, in places like St Helens and Widnes that are big Rugby League towns. The fact he's going on about Wales shows he's misunderstood the reason.
@terryushermusic2 жыл бұрын
Let's clear a couple things up here. White socks is a no go unless you've got a pair of white trainees and even then it depends on what keck's you're wearing. The tucking in the trackies to socks was something Scousers did about 25 years ago when we all wore Rockport and Lacoste trackies. There's also grey areas with the bins, Halewood, Huyton and Bootle I think have brown bins, but those places are considered as Liverpool. And yes, it's a lollyice, because you don't call a lollipop a poplolly do you?
