This info about "lowest price in last 30 days" is mandatory by EU law... they have to put this, even if it doesn't make sens.

It's a good law. You can see actual prices before "Black Friday". But for Gamefound, which is EU-based, If you get a discount from MSRP, you have to add it.

For EU it might make sense…but over here in North America, the new form of slavery is debt. Keep the masses in chains with FOMO and easy payment plans.

@@Ironhawx I fail to see how this practice induces FOMO. This EU law was devised to prevent people from falling for fake discounts. There was a common practice of increasing the product price in November to then decrease it back to normal price just before Christmas and call it a discount. Now you can see the lowest price in 30 days and clearly see that this is not a discount and it also works properly in case of Gamefound. It tells you that it's not a time-sensitive thing, you don't have to rush to buy it, because that's the normal price.

Love your videos. I never go all in any more, I usually back the base game and have moved away from miniatures to standees if possible. Backed nothing this year, as plenty to play from previous campaigns

I was all excited for DC UNITED until the All In Price. The campaign mode/team mode is dependant on having it all. I love Green Lantern, but it is over 2 expansions. I wish that they had just released half the content now, then another content a year from now. But this is just too much at once.

You don't have to go all in, though. You can get the base pledge and the two Green Lantern sets and then sell off whatever you don't want.

How much of the game system will I need for that since it suggests you have the entire system (plus the retail release)?

@@teaminnovator You can do the core pledge and then add in the two Green Lantern expansions and then add in the campaign decks. That will give you the base game, the Green Lantern expansions and all of the stretch goals. Then, you can sell off all of the stretch goal figures and cards that you don't want and get some, or maybe all, of your money back. You might even make a profit. I'm doing that but with Batman instead of Green Lantern.

I had the exact same thoughts with Deep Regrets. I backed it, but then thought, I really want to try this first. I ended up canceling. I feel good about that decision.

I was very excited through about 2/3's of the DC United campaign, thinking this is so awesome and kept adding to my pledge. But once I saw my pledge had crept up to $325 and there were still 2 more expansions and the all in I thought this is getting ridiculous. I am not paying almost $400 for this, plus shipping. I love the United system and the DC stuff looks great but I realized I just don't need that much stuff. And sure a giant starfish is awesome but is it worth the space or effort to sell it almost 2 years from now. No. So I lowered my pledge to just my favorites. Still a ridiculous $250. But I feel much better about not giving in to fomo.

Yes, that's my reason for not backing it as well, but likewise I'll reconsider when it hits retail (and there are some playthrough videos available). Whilst I like the described worker dynamic very much, I'm a little concerned about how much I disliked having to look over other players' tableaus in Moon, and at times needing them to remind me of the specific ability. I'd want to see how easy the cards are to read from across the table, as the game enjoyment depends on this being smooth.

I am not interested in Odalin. You will get the full experience if you only go for all in. Otherwise you only have half campaign just for core game

CTG 20 Strong will be balanced but I'll guarantee that March 2025 is already off the table. I'll be amazed if it's gone to pre production by March 2025. My history of backing CTG products is that they are 6-12 months late normally because they can't sort the balance form the campaign end and getting the artwork done. They promised not this time but I've also just seen my breakfast fly past the window!!

@@juliusvanbergen927 Not my experience, Unbreakable late, 2nd printing with expansions of Burncycle late, 2nd printing of Hiplomachus Victorum late, Undertow late, do I need to go on? As per my original post, they will get the balance right, the product will look great but their programme management is optomistic at best, woeful if brutal. Check the original promise dates and the actual delivery, 6-12 months later than advertised. I love their games but accurate on delivery they are not.

I'm going all-in for the united. That said, it's less than half of backers then previous campaigns. It's still a lot of people, however... this month in general have been much slower in crowdfunding in general.
