Dude. This is the best lesson ever! Seriously! You just opened a big box of crayons for a bunch of starving artist stranded on an isolated island in a tropical paradise. Now we can all have snocones! Of any imaginable flavour! Such a sweet lesson. Seriously dude. THANK YOU!

Again, you explain things in the exact way that I learn. I appreciate the way you teach. Thank you !!!

Thanks for this one Sean. This is a great way of looking at the fretboard and playing up and around the neck.

I’ve been doing the same thing with modes , someone was saying that they weren’t for improvising so I did it in spite of the lesson. Now I always have a fresh way to play notes and sequences I never would have thought of, I still mix it up with minor/ major pentatonic but have noticed that the best compliments I get are often when I think and improvise modally

This is something I have been trying to work out, whether to practice scales or not and after while doing it I felt it was robotic, so this is very handy.

"3 notes per string" I like this instead of the usual note selection. (scale). thanks
@riffwrath62362 жыл бұрын
Almost correct , you forgot to incorporate the 3rd when shredding to get the feel of the the underlying chord being a major or minor chord.

Hey Sean, Another great video!!! I play by feel a lot and have never really learned to count. Because of that I have timing problems returning to the chord at the right time. Any suggestions?

Makes sense...I know, but choose not to practice good hygine...rather, incorporate parts of good hygine, when needed/when I feel it...usually a burning sensation. Haha, alright, I need to stop. Great mental-visual-auditory material. Good lesson, dawg.
