Fevir... Thanks for the video. I decided to make a Tamer because of you're video and I enjoyed your outlook on the class. I can Honestly say this class is NOT broken. 90% of the people crying about how Bad tamer is... are really just BAD at Tamer. the only place this class suffers is Desync because Tamer is constantly moving (if you're playing it right) pausing for only seconds to whiplash the living shit out of Downed enemies..BDO is working on desync in general so eventually that won't be an issue anymore. in short.. your positive video inspired me to make a Tamer and Make it work for me. Thanks!

+Fevir I'd like to add, the large aoe stun that the tamer possesses (Fearful Trembling) has a hidden heal to it. If you hit 8 enemies with a stun, you are looking at gaining 3/4ths your life back, even with 80+ dp gear. So if you hit even more, you can instantly go back to full life. This allows you to farm without any use of potions, as you can gain massive amounts of mana back just from Flash and normal basic attacks.

Put on jump bonus gear and try the jumping on it then. Potion, Food, Gems, The set with bonus jump. Its awesome. A good class & setup for people who want to be able to ignore higher level zone PKing. Just jump 40 feet away at a time. Skilled warriors might be able to catch you but not much else.

My friend and I just started, he just got to 17 and got "roaring" but it says it is a black spirit rage consumer, he doesn't seem to be able to use it very often, in your video at 1:40 it looked like you did 3 roars in a roar, once every 10 seconds. +Joshua Creech It has a CD of like 24 secs for Roaring III and consumes a shit ton of MP at early levels, so bring them MP potions and become a pot head!. It doesn't use Black spirit rage.

Thanks for the insights. I'm just maining a Valk atm, lvl 51. The idea is to get to lvl 55 before leveling an alt. I will definitely consider a tamer.I do have 8 alts however for farming/annolisa/free passive energy for node investments. Btw, having females only as characters doesn't make u a perv :)

Holy moly. My first character is a Tamer that is currently at level 41, and I never knew riding it was that good. All the forum posts I read compared it to a Tier 2 horse... Also, the AOE ability is great for the most part, but it leaves you really vulnerable when grinding mobs that are a couple levels higher than you.

Played Venomancer for years back in the ancient times of Perfect World International...vowed never to want a tamer class again due to high investment costs for other tamer classes in other games, but I decided to break that vow and I'm glad I did :)!

Jep, this class totally kicks balls. Together with Wizard, these two (pet class and ranged magic) are my favorite classes. Would've picked tamer if it were available as a male class. Would've also made a wizard if it weren't an old creepy perv. Call me whatever you'd like, but I´d like my avatar to represent me ingame (a young male guy). That's why I'm disappointed about the gender locked classes. So now I have to do with warrior (it's okay I gues...) and waiting for blader. Maybe some day in the future daum'll decide to unlock the genders/classes.

I'm so glad I picked the Tamer. Everyone under estimate us but I'll be damn if this class isn't awesome. We can also be really good at PvP. Though, I don't use Roaring as much anymore. I was using it all the time when leveling up but now... it doesn't feel that great, especially because we're very vulnerable when doing it.

Just tried the tamer and I have to say it's one of the coolest classes. Unfortunately one of the reasons it is the coolest in my opinion is because the gear actually looks cool on her. So sad that cash shop costumes cost nearly as much as the game itself and the ingame gear looks prerty much the same for most classes. Oh well here's hoping that that'll change. Either way love your vids keep up the good work ;D

So, I just started bdo, and made a tamer. I see its hard to find 1v1 pvp videos and the very few rare videos I do find the tamer seems to be struggling, or cutting it pretty damn close. Do I have the right class for 1v1/duels? or do i need to re-roll? I'm not looking for a busted op class but something that's gonna get the job done w/o cutting it terribly close or struggling. Do you have a pvp video posted already?

I don't have anything posted. Tamers are great in 1v1 or small scale.. but all but useless in larger GvG Node Wars type stuff.. at least at the higher more competitive levels

+Uncle Jellyfish Tamer requires like 3-5 buttons. Shift, roar, another aoe and lmb + rmb so yeah 5. but most stuff can be done with 3. I started with witch, got bored, made a tamer and got it to 50. Went back to witch and will not probably continue with tamer :D

The pet is pretty useless at lv. 50 (it's mainly just a distraction and some tick dmg/stun, but easily killed), and riding it will only get you dead in any form of pvp. Tamers can be solid for pvp, but most rolled tamer due to (as you've said) Ninja/Kun. sharing the same gear/weapons.

BDO has some of the best classes of any similar class in any MMO. The combat in my opinion is the best I have experienced. Free flow of b uttons, customized combos, set combos, escape moves, burst damages. Play how you want when you want.
