Drk is super close second. There's triple weaves you can do without clipping your gcd. But that's not something a new player needs to worry about lol.

Warrior was so much fun as a gateway to other tank roles and can afford someone new to the game (and tanking) the survivability to get comfortable with the concepts that come with the role.

Been waiting for this to come to Xbox since it came out, and I started it with WAR for the story. Finally unlocked DRK, haven't looked back lol. So much more flashier and fun to play imo.

Starting as a tank is definitely the best way! I made the mistake of starting as a Scholar… EXCEPT you’re the DPS Arcanist until you reach the full job. Those queues were painful.

Dark Knight is actually so much fun and easy to play once you understand the simplicity of it's rotations. DRK has just a single target and AoE Rotation with a Burst filler plus a ton of Migitations.

Warrior is just the most complete tank. You have good mits, shortest cooldown invuln, self sustain, and good damage. Every other tank is just missing something that makes them harder to play. Dark knight and gunblade worse mits and no real sustain but get damage. Paladin you get tons of mits with an ok heal for emergencies but worse damage.

As soon as PLD gets their heal they are the easiest tank to play for anyone. The GNB needs a certain level but is the most fun to play due to the DPS playstyle.

Real shit? Its kinda infuriating how often Healers will get mad and just refuse to heal you as PLD if you touch Clemency. Its part of my kit, let me use it.

few things.. "you direct the speed and flow" no, that's false because you still have assholes that run ahead and pull making it annoying to deal with so that's not entirely true. "there's a dire shortage for tanks" yes because SE doesn't want to make more tank or healer classes to help with the load of queue times, they'd rather make more and more DPS increase the times because brain dead. "raid grps will hire you much more frequently" Not true either, you have to do all kinds of BS video watching to know the fights ahead of time instead of playing the game, so that's a flaw of the game, the community and not true to an extent.
