Stellar! Glad I could have such an impact. I hope you really like it, I think it's a great game in the style of Quest for Glory.

I really enjoyed this game when I played it years ago. It reminded me of QFG, I just wish it was in EGA with a text parser.

I like the idea of what AGDI did with the QFG II remake - including a parser/mouse combination interface even though it wasn't full parser, I think it would be cool to have both options. But yeah, HQ is a great game and phenomenally free!

Is this an entire game series or just one game?
@JustPlayingTheClassics7 ай бұрын
Sadly just the one, but as mentioned it is a bit of a spiritual successor to the Quest for Glory series but otherwise stand alone.

@@JustPlayingTheClassics Ah. Such a pity they did not have the motivation to do an entire game series. I completed the whole original game series with Paladin, Wizard and Thief so that I transferred the character from earlier game to the next. As a result, my guy was both, relatively wealthy and not exactly born yesterday once the next game started.

Absolutely! I always loved transferring my hero to the next game, one of my favorite features. While it is a shame they didn't make more than the one game, I strongly advise you check it out. If you loved QFG you should definitely love this! Great successor with a good mixture of what works with some other concepts thrown on top.

@@JustPlayingTheClassics Then this game sounds promising! I can remember how in QFG1, you could of course not transfer your character because there was no earlier game. That meant you had better be careful how you roamed in the forest during your very first day (when you had not yet slept your very first night). Because your character was so weak that even meeting one single goblin could be a death sentence. In other words, you were so weak your best bet was likely to not even attempt to make your way to Eranas Peace but to pay for the first night in Spielburg in no matter how much you loved penny pinching. That was quite a far cry from the superhero he would be in the end of the game. I also very much loved the fact there was no levelling system at all but instead, all you had was developing and training your character in a desperate attempt to make him at least a wee little bit more than a pitiful wimp. Sounds like this heroine game is similar.
