Naval is best game mode on my opinion I love the enduring conflict, 2 and a half hours of large scale battles and with friends it gets even better having a 4 man destroyer get a bunch of torpedo kills, bully pt boats and have a good time.

If you start with coatal from the bottom its very fun as you get to learn the basics. also they are fast. doging shots and torpedoes in a bathtub with torpedoes strapped to it and sinking a ship the size of a mall is epic.

Bro on majority of props you can choose and control how much your oil system or radiator or supercharger is extended literally optimisating performance or allowing you to use a semi-airbase if you overshoot On the wiki you have tried and tested compressor or radiator extension and prefect altitude recommendations

I enjoy naval the most. It sucks me in once I start playing that mode. That being said, it’s hard to find matches without destroyer’s nowadays. When I first got war thunder, the coastal fleet action was so much fun, now it’s just long distance fights with minor skirmishes of smaller vessels for the zones. I always liked bringing a high tier fighter as well so I could safe guard the rest of the fleet from enemy torpedo bombers.

With pretty much automatic guns, and a ton of premiums at the good br. Try playing other nations like japan, its alot more challenging but you get big glorius ships with incredible calibers. Tho grinding for these ships is little from easy.

Started actually playing naval last weekend, I'm used to slow pace gameplay from playing world of warships, so nothing new for me, but i gotta say, its pretty enjoyable, rushing a capture point as a destroyer while you got torpedo boats right in front of you trying to stop you is cool as hell, you blow them up with a single shot, but they can easily kill you with torpedoes if you're not careful, naval can be so slow and fast at the same time, it's hella fun to me, oh yeah, the grind's painfully slow, but it's war thunder, you should be used to that at this point.

More likely naval is fun only with US navy and ussr skr 7. I main italy in naval RB into point of being able to finally get the ship that made me to play them (Zara heavy cruiser) and the sheer amount of pain and inacurate guns that take a while to load is unberable to withstand when uss moffets just spam the deck fires out of me with skr 7s Only kills with these are mostly PT boats in other cases either kill steal happens after i dump third of ammo supply or plane kill with jap kills

For me personally, flying low and fast and attacking the ship from the direct front seems to work the best, the AA has some large dead zones at the very front of the ship and if you’re low enough the AA just won’t be able to hit you at all.
