Dudes who think that’s “tower defence” gameplay is not for u, hear me out! I was like u for a very a long time, I have as making attempts to pull into AK about 5-7 times and every time the gameplay was the biggest issue considering I love devs and overhaul but I can not made myself interested in this game. Then I’ve found out PtN, as well as AK it was so hard to use to this gameplay and I dropped this game 2 times. Then 6 days ago I’ve decided to made one more and last attempt to this game, and after a little bit more hours I spent into them before , I found out what this game actually is… that’s amazing… the story, and atmosphere that game drops u into, characters’ personalities, generous devs, many interesting activities, all of these make u really feel this game. I’m about to drop my main game (aether gazer) which I’ve been into more than year for this game. This one is really unique and incredible.

Still the only mobile game that was able to make me stay interested playing it longer than a day. Thank goodness I didn't see that original advertisement and just downloaded it because a game about sinners sounded interesting. Everything about this game is just amazing. When I downloaded PTN I didn't expect anything, I was pretty immersed with Arknights, but man after one year I can definitively say that PTN is equal to or even greater than AK in a lot of aspects. The improvements had been quick and awesome. Keep it up Chiefs!

A hidden gem that rewards anyone who realizes its brilliance. Voiced dialogues made a huge difference in setting the tone, and make characters come to life. The art style is just gorgeous, the fact that every character, regardless of rank all got their own mugshot is a treat on its own. The writing is on another level, is almost ‘sinful’ to see such a good story in a gacha game. This is the kind of the game that you can play just for the story alone, and gacha is just optional.

Honestly, with the story, characters, and everything they cooked up, if this wasn't a TD game (which i think is the main reason it isn't so popular) and more like the other gacha games (genshin and allat idk) it could be very popular. But I do understand that if they made it like that it could've been a failure.

as someone who started playing on launch day and dropped the game after like a month, did they improve the game? -did they make the difficulty ramp up less ridiculous in story? -did they make it less of a chore to enhance units? -did they make the gacha even a little less frustrating? -did they make the characters look a little less... all the same? if they did i'm willing to give it another shot

I've been playing since launch and I can say: - they added a story mode for players who find it hard to clear the normal levels. It's definitely easier. As for the normal mode, well, if you've only played until the first month, I'd say the next chapters have definitely gotten harder. But yeah, story mode exists if you can't clear those. - since I've been playing for a long time, I don't really notice the "levelling up units is a chore" thing anymore, because I've accumulated enough resource boxes and free resources from the shop to just open those whenever I'm out. Otherwise, apart from the double drop events, there's not much of a difference from the beginning. - idk what you mean by this, PTN has one of the most generous gachas out there. I have almost all units in the roster (only lacking 2) and I got myself 6 S-ranks in the last anniversary without spending money for pull currency. I did, however, spend money to buy skins, as thanks for the generosity and support for the game. - that's pretty subjective. I can say yes, they never looked the same in the first place, but hey, to each their own.

@@Eliombc idk about generous, at least at first it took me a week to get my second S rank by grinding as much as i could and by the time i quit i had 3 so either they improved it a lot or you have been very lucky (or i had extremely bad luck) and the characters at launch looked all the same, same facial structure, same-ish hairstyles with slightly different color tones, it's the hyper generic korean art style that while it looks good is incredibly generic.

Here is my thought. Spoiler alert. Man, with the slight appearance of Zoya, i wonder if our dear Chief will meet her in the future now that the entire Legion doing their own thing out of Dis City. I really pumped up with the prospect of both woman (or one man if someone play as the male chief) meet again in the future. Hecate evolving (probably become S rank sinner, hopefully...), and now that Hella is gone (probably joining the Legion journey towards unknown land), i expect the most spectacular thing when the time they are reunited (or total comedy that hella always bring to the team). Also, my jaw dropped after they drop the actual appearance of the Sheperd Granny, never thought that she is from one of the crimebrands all along. Poor Syndicans thought, thousands or probably millions of their lives lost due to being tossed here and there by both side, as well as sacrificied for black rings by Undergrounds. But their resiliences souls make them survived despite the overwhelmingly supernatural forces who tortured them for so long. Now that the largest black ring have been destroyed, they finally have a brighter future. Still one thing that i really wanna see is that some little clue about the blonde woman from the very first chapter, that would make our chief to begin their new journey to hunt her vigorously.

As someone who play such games for story, path to nowhere story is the one who takes my most interest. I am also playing AK, PGR, Alchemy stars, aether gazer etc, and I really love these game stories too but damn PTN is whole another level of enjoyment for me. The story pacing is also not slow and gets serious very quickly. I mean, just go through the prologue and you will get what I am saying. Once you get attached to it, it is impossible to get out from the hype XD Moreover, the Japanese voice acting is also really top tier!!!!! And the art!!!! Also don't leave the soundtracks as well cause they are just awesome. I also like how they illustrate the chief in the story frequently too which most self insert games don't do much. For gameplay, it is similar to AK but for me (for the main story only) PTN seems easier though cause I have to look up guides to clear the story in AK but I don't need one for PTN. Maybe being able to shift the units through the map fit quite well with me. For the gacha system, PTN and AK has the most generous gacha for me XD. And it is also not that difficult to save up hypercubes for your fav sinner in PTN. So, all I want to say is that if you are a story-focused player like me it will be worthwhile to try PTN cause it has super great storylines, character development amd everything you can find in a great story! For gameplay part, I don't know how to describe it (cause I am just a causal player and struggles to understand the skills and usage in every games.......) but I am enjoying it too XD.

I am sorry but this is just baseless, op loves this game why can't he praise it and if you ask any other ptn player you will get the same opinions. If you want examples and something in-depth you need to look for "a guide for beginners", these kind of videos like "why should you play" or "why we like and you need too" certain game is just a genre of videos where person who is the part of community expresses his/community's opinion, they persuade people who may be still hesitant and thinking if it's worth a time so this kind of video is the last push that might make them play because it's from the player itself (using ethos as a method of persuasion), also a great promotion for the game. Yes, you can say op is not the best in making videos but they work on that but how can you improve by not making more
