Thank you for this interesting episode of the ekimas. I have a question for you guys as lawyers. What advice would you give to a man who is legally married and the wife left the house , its almost 5years now , she has no child in the house but she needs property. Funny enough she calls her self woman of God who says God instructed her to leave the marriage of which she also said it was the same God that instructed them to get married. Such people make God and church loose meaning

Hey Agnes is she asking for a divorce ? Upon divorce, their property will be distributed as discussed in the video. So it matters how they were owning the property ie whether it was in their joint names or one person’s name. Court will look at each property using the principles we shared in the video to determine who takes what

Hi guys my question is I bought a land and build the house 3/4 my "husband" contributed 1/4 to show him a sense of belonging the title deed was jointly written now he is claiming the ownership of the same plot and want to bring former wife in the same plot.guide me

We addressed it in the video. The people whose names are on the title are what the law considers as the owner. Assuming that you are Ugandans because that Is Ugandan law.
