My take home is that its ok to change hospitals or even doctors until you find one that you're comfortable with. With my pregnancy, I was naive about this that I withstood a doctor that was not nice just because I feared changing .

Hey Carol congratulations on your pregnancy🎉. No I didn’t get the epidural. Labour kicked in in the middle of the anxiety 😂before I could get a hospital that could give me an epidural. The hospital where I ended up last minute didn’t even have it so I had to let stuff take their natural cause…luckily it all happened so fast and easily. Turns out it was all fear in my head. I didn’t need an epidural and the pain wasn’t as bad as I was convinced it would be. Concerning your fear take heart. Many have done it so can you. It is normal to fear the unknown but don’t let it consume you. There’s light at the end of the tunnel. Above all pray and commit your journey to God
