Yes yes yes to all of this! I also have a feeling that Farseer will be so much better on re-read, because the way that the final trilogy tied things from that very first trilogy back in was just magnificent! Also, Fool's Assassin proved to me that I really am a big character-driven reader. Vibing with Fitz and his family there was just peak enjoyment for me. And then everything hurt even more when the peace was shattered lmao. Great video Jordan!! 🤩

RotE is my favorite fantasy series because of the characters. The only author that I think come close to character work within fantasy, because I haven't read her sci-fi yet, is Lois McMaster Bujold. Her World of the Five Gods was such a great series after finishing RotE, and I want to really emphasize the Penric and Desdemona short stories.
