Great review Alex! I’m currently on Dark Age for my reread and am loving it. I agree the new POV’s are so great the second go around. Can’t wait for Light Bringer! I’m sure it won’t emotionally devastate us at all.

Dark Age will break your heart but it's SO GOOD. Faithful and the Fallen was excellent, I adore that series.

Thanks Alex! Started Red Rising a couple of days ago and I wasn’t sure about it at first. Now about half way through it and I am IN!! Really getting into it now and will go back and watch your review of it when I finish. Finished what is current with Suneater and was really laboring to find something else to take it’s place. I believe I have!

Sun Eater is definitely a bit different but that and Red Rising are easily my 2 favorite sci-fi series right now. Red Rising starts a bit weaker but from Golden Son through Light Bringer right now it's all amazing. Enjoy!

This is definitely in my top list for SFF, I always enjoy when an author grows with each book and watching Pierce Brown's progression book by back has been amazing. Darrow is one of my favorite characters to be in his head and watching the progression from the first trilogy to the rest of the series has been great! Enjoyed the review!

I borrowed Red Rising from my local library recently and just dived into it and I gotta say I'm loving it so far. Thanks for the recommendation Alex. It didn't resonate with me the first go but now it definetely has hit the spot.

It didn't with me either, not until about 75% in. I loved the intro, was verrrry meh on the middle and then loved the end. The series gets SO MUCH better from Golden Son and beyond.

I think from the time I started my channel I had people on their commenting I needed to read Red Rising. Didn't think I was going to make it by the time lightbringer came out but I just blew through all the books.
