Before deciding on Chiang Mai at least spend a week or two and get to the know place. Chiang Mai or even Thailand does not fit for all. I am also LE retired from CA and know of several who retired who hated Thaialnd and absolutely hated Chiang Mai. "People think differently from where I come from". Time is viewed differently. A good total recovery Sir Bill. I am an employee in Belgium and had no chance to stop at 55. I am nearly 57 now and I must work til 65. My father had also the luck to stop at 55 cause they did a reorganisation at his work. The government rolls it out that everyone must work til 67. But no politician in the parlements will work til 67. It's unfair. Have a good healing week. Luc aka Jason Basson

Bill what symptoms did you have with the bladder that required further testing to determine the results, also did you smoke etc? Where i worked we were exposed to Pitch and Carbon fumes/dust which cause bladder cancer. A few have had BC some made some didn't., We were screened for years then they stopped citing only a small percentage were getting BC, more like cost cutting!
@UTCMАй бұрын
@SteveSmith-zz4ih My first symtom was frequent trips to the bathroom which were atributed to age . Second was blood in urine which was diagnoised the next day as cancer and treatment started 3 days later . I stopped smoking 10 years ago , but chewed tobacco , also drank a lot of diet coke . Now its water coffee and gatoraide only .

A lot of people keep working because they would have nothing to do if they didn't. They don't want to travel, or go hiking or play music or take classes. They would end up watching tv or drinking at the local bar.

Thanks for the video & sharing, if I am going to retire and move in Thailand which in my early 50's now, I need to have at least $3K in monthly pension & at least $100K extra savings for emergency, going out only 3x a week with a regular Thai lady with no LDs & no barfines. That won't happen until late 2025 or early 2026.
