Hi, I live exactly opposite of this Bridge. Was standing over there making a video, talking with onlookers and police personnel. Couldn’t cross over because they closed the bridge for security reasons. They are afraid that too many ppl will stand there, taking fotos 👍 Thanks for posting the situation on XT! Will share with my family in Europe.

Wow that's alot of water, last time there I went to a riverside Bar/ Nightclub, which was under and near one of the of the major bridges, I'm almost certain it is now flooded extensively along with the access road. Love the lady in the small cafe, also love sweet Mango, definetly on my Bucket List next time I go there.

I live within the old city moat. Fortunately, it is not flooding near me. Friends work at the market near Night Bazaar, and it all flooded last night. She told me that she didn't think it would reach them and 2 hours later they were in water up to their knees.

Drove from Chiang Mai to Bangkok yesterday, roads are fine but the fields are flooded from lampang to kamphaeng pet. Stay dry Chiang Mai

Hope Chiang Mai does not get flooded as bad as Chiang Rai ,my house had over 6ft depth of water inside last week.

@UTCM In Canada the govt is starting to think about rezoning residential properties near the water and to stop houses being built with basements. Insurance are also refusing to payout on claims and the govt is left to fork out aid.
