WHY YOU SHOULD/ SHOULDN'T BUY A GT 650 | OWNERSHIP REVIEW

So it's been more than a year since I bought a continental GT 650 and the experience has been amazing. I keep getting questions regarding whether they should buy on or not, So here is my take on it, the good points as well as the bad ones. Hope you enjoy the video!

​@@tanmaydutta4192 Listen, if your height is over.6 ft then maybe it would be a little uncomfortable for you in first or second week. But trust me, after a week or two, you won't even realise what your seating posture is anymore. I take the bike at rides of 600-700 km and I never had back pain in my entire life. Heating is indeed there but you gotta accept that this is the part of a cafe racer. Everyone who you have heard complaining about the heating issues in GT, they don't know what cafe racers are. They are meant to heat, they are meant to be uncomfortable, that is what cafe racers are because they are not bought, they are built and that's what makes them special. Don't worry about it brother, the experience GT gives is unique and you won't get it on any bike trust me no matter how expensive or powerful that bike is. Cafe racers are something else. If you want better experience than gt but similar to GT then you should have a look at Triumph Thruxton 1200.

But then, just like sticker price, mileage satisfaction that differs totally from person to person. I guess back strain will also come upon how much muscle build up you have over your shoulder and spine, flexibility also comes into play. The reason bike reviewers point it as a negative but a long time owner does not whine about it much is because even though few people feeling difficult to handle the bike initially, over the time they develop muscle adjustments, strength control and shoulder and back stability as per the bike's normal usage. ITS LIKE WHEN MOUNTAJN BIKES WEREN'T A THING IN INDIA, I FELL IN LOVE WITH THE HAWK CYCLE DURING SCHOOL DAYS. IT LOOKED THR COOLEST. ENDED UP BUYING IT DUE TO GOOD LOOKS AND THEN DEVELOPED EXHAUSTION AND BACK PAIN DUE TO SUPER LOW DOWN POSTURE. MY CLASSMATES COULDNT BELIEVE I RODE IT EVERYDAY LIKE THAT BECAUSE THEY COULDNT. TELL YOU WHAT ALL DISCOMFORT WENT AWAY AFTER 2-3 WEEKS AND THAT BENT DOWN POSTURE WAS LIKE NOTHING FOR ME SINCE THEN.

I went to royal Enfield showroom in june 2022 I just saw this bike in chrome colour and yes it was love at first sight till that day my only dream bike is continental gt650 no bike can match its charasmatic feel If you dont like it I challenge you to ride it once and khalaaas ❤

Actuall ye cafe racer ka bike he.. matlab ki ek stan se dhusre stan lejane ke liye.. its not for a long ride.. the british used this kind of cafe racer bike for riding to one cafe to another cafe.. mainly it should be single seat.. but if you try to used as a cruiser bike.. nope. But used it according to whats it is made.

While I understand that you immediately loved it, we must also consider that this was your first PROPER bike. It is natural to love your first bike for how it looks and feels. Any bike that doesn't look very common will get you head turns. It is not unique to the GT. A silver suzuki gixxer does that too because it is not a common sight on the road even though it costs significantly less than the GT. For people who've ridden other 650s or twin cylinder bikes like the Ninjas 650, VStrom 650 or maybe even the smaller Ninja 300/400, you may have a very different experience on the test ride where the GT may feel less refined and powerful.
