Really appreciate your videos. Just added this one to the pre-race "mix tape" I have made for my 8yr. old son. He is racing ovals for now, and is wicked fast, but he struggles with getting caught up in attack mode for 20 laps. He will be on track for six minutes and come into the pits looking like a war veteran with a thousand yard stare in his eyes. So many wonderful pointers in this video! I cannot thank you enough.

You just described me, I'm very chilled in the seat, regardless of what I'm driving that day. Have just come off 2 straight Endurance Kart wins (17 & 19 lap leads), and jumping into a kart I have not even seen before this Sunday, 1 practice session and it's race time.

Kinda what I realized this weekend. Usually am in the podium in my league, so was trying too hard and was getting too frustrated when I was down in P5 and not being mindful of the whole race (like I usually am subconsciously) which cost me. Sulked all weekend but came out with a new level of understanding. Good timing! Haha

Pretty much what I would consider "racecraft". Some people have it, some don't.
@NorbergNation Жыл бұрын
Yeah thats basically it. But its a way to further your racecraft

Yea when I was younger, I use to concentrate so hard I would forget to breath

I kind of do this automatically. Maybe it’s bc I do more rental karts and don’t really do starting starts. Could just be sim experience too I guess. I guess for some it could just come naturally too.

Rotax max evo really costs little to repair by its long repairing cycle, if you don't need your engine be very competitive at the end of the cycle.
