In this video, I dive deep into the wisdom of Picasso and his belief that "all children are born artists; the problem is to remain an artist as you grow up." What does this mean for us as adults? Children create freely without constraints, much like walking KZbin channels. They live without the burdens of monetary constraints, unlike adults who spend a significant portion of their lives working jobs they hate, traveling to and from those jobs, and pretending to enjoy them.
I share my own journey of artistic freedom, recalling a time when I painted with lightning from the sky, earning the nickname "Zeus" from Vice Magazine. This creative freedom was only possible because I wasn't bound by financial worries.
Why do we lose this freedom as we grow up? Because we become trapped by monetary constraints and societal expectations. We spend our hard-earned money on vacations and material things to mask our dissatisfaction with our jobs. But true freedom comes from creation itself.
I challenge the gatekeepers of the art world, like Clement Greenberg, who have never created art themselves. They don't understand the true essence of being an artist. True artistry comes from the freedom to create without constraints, something children naturally possess.
In today's world, platforms like KZbin offer a unique opportunity for this freedom. They allow you to create and share your voice while earning money, thus solving both monetary constraints and censorship issues. But this window of opportunity is closing as AI begins to flood the marketplace.

Just discovered your channel and I sincerely appreciate your message here. I broke my foot last week and suddenly have six weeks I can’t do my normal delivery job and really want to put that time into my animation/3D art crap so this is extremely motivating! 🙏 one might argue that there are still definitely gatekeepers in any platform though. Even KZbin has its share of censorship and background manipulation that can make it seem like just uploading to an empty void. But I agree with the overall sentiment and appreciate all your takes 👍👏

When I search for new music I always look up the musician/ band, so I hope I'll never be fooled into buying or listening to AI "music". Although a significant number of artists are introverts, I also think the next step is to show we are human, to be as visible as performers, until AI becomes the "better human" and shares the same rights as us if not more. Seeing how AI accounts on Instagram already have huge followings and sales copying the exact same style, is disheartening to say the least. Also, showing your face and opinions online is so scary because no matter what you do someone will make it their mission to harass you.

Test it out, next time you see a bad comment, look at their profile. 99% of the time they've never even made one video. So don't let these haters put you off. Just ignore them, they have their own problems.

@@lorenbrand That's probably true, who knows what their motives are... I think the only things that can hurt are those that I subconsciously or consciously already dislike about myself so if they manage to guess those exact things I'll be turning cold and pale for a few minutes, but I usually forget after a while.
