Hey Duck, you must be new to comedy. You can poke fun at something while still essentially agreeing with it. In fact, it makes for better comedic observations when you're poking fun at a community YOU ARE PART OF rather than one you know nothing about. Personally, I make fun of hippie feminists in my comedy because I'm making fun of myself. That doesn't mean I stop buying organic free-range eggs and loving The Handmaid's Tale. If I tried to write something making fun of, say, hunters or computer hackers... it would be weak as fuck because it would be clear I don't actually know much about them.
