I have a friend like Gabe who's 40 years old and never had a 'stable' career. I always thought she doesn't have a balanced life because she keeps taking temporary jobs in greenhouses and farms all over the world and spending all her money traveling and going to music festivals, then looking for jobs again. I now understand that she's an explorer just like Gabe and maybe that's what she needs to do to be happy. Thank you for the message Teal. Our schools should be varied and include farming, apprenticeships for variety of tasks, tech, arts, literary, historical, ...and room for innovation. What a world we could create with children growing into their best self with no predetermined "normal"... glorious.

Many people hear about this and understand this law but continually say, “This is crazy, I was just thinking about this!” Almost like they’re trying to unlearn the law of attraction and pretend it’s all “sUcH a cOinCiDeNcE….” You attracted it!!! Everything you see everyday you attract on some level because everything is energy and so are your thoughts and feelings and like attracts like!!!

All I've wanted since I was little was to be a homemaker like Martha Stewart. I was pressured to go to college by my second wave feminist mother who couldn't stand that I was interested in gender roles. I'm now married and doing a majority of the housework because that's what I care about but still feel like I have to have a "real job" because unpaid labor is so devalued. I don't want my husband to do more housework so I can have a career. I want a clear division of labor that allows me to steward someone else's resources so that they're more efficient and go farther. I want to build a life for me and my partner that we don't have to escape from. I resent feminism for devaluing the domestic arts and, in my opinion, making more women more burned out.

being a stay at home wife is one of the most important jobs in the world especially once children are involved. You have the opportunity to take care of your own children and keep them busy with after school activities once school starts for them. A functional household is the best place to come home from after work and the best place to raise children. Tell everyone that that spends 2/3 of their paycheck paying other folks to raise their kids to stfu. You are a beautiful person for your views nowadays. People are brainwashed to think stay at home moms are lazy and worthless... i disagree and think they are the most important people in our society. They hold everything together.

I chose a work path which at the time fulfilled me but did not meet my financial requirements. As time went on I became more proficient and the work could provide financially but at the expense of health (little time for exercise), lack of sleep (working seventy hours a week or more), little time to pursue human connection, little personal time for leisure, little time to invest in growing intellectually. At first I thought I had succeeded in creating a career out of something I was passionate about. But I used brute force to make something I enjoyed into a career. I had to burn out to realize this was not sustainable but due to my stubbornness It took a decade to finally acknowledge this. I did not realize at the time that I need to satisfy other elements of living to function and thrive. I suppose better late than never.

This is so applicable to me, it’s crazy!! I also noticed how a lot of people in the European workshops had questions about this topic. @@Changeworld408 If you ask me (that I was on the first edge of workaholism and now im in the opposite edge of ¨refusing to work"), I would say that my body talked before my brain. A strong burn out made me take a distance from work and then I started looking my whole life from a different perspective until I realised that I used to live my life running like a hamster on a hamster wheel. This type of lifestyle to me is pointless now. I am realising what really matters and serves my best interests, what really is compatible to me and that type of lifestyle didnt make me happy and I am consciously now changing everything. What is a good question is: "what took you there in the first place?" And I can definately say that it wasnt my choice. And this is the sad part for anyone who lives a life that is not his/her (conscious) choice. So this is why I totally agree with this video: If you consciously know what your passion is and you follow it even if that is workaholism or traveling around the world or simply make a family etc then you live a life compatible to you. I wish for everyone to take a moment and reflect if what they live is their choice or not and if not, then to find the strength to change it.

Much like playing an instrument, finding the sweet spot in an action. Doing something right at the perfect time can create ecstasy. There is the Pillar of Relationships; there is the Pillar of Work and Providership; there is the Pillar of Health and there is the Pillar of your Spiritual Development. Each of these Pillars is of equal value. And even though at any particular moment you may be focused on one of these Pillars, the truth is they all must be built. Whatever responsibilities or goals that you establish in your life require that each of these Pillars be strong and that you are attentive to each one of them. Working the job you love, a vocation that is meaningful, is an ideal, but not everyone fall into that scenario partly because of beliefs they have, I think. That’s where society and collective comes through. Never too late to find a job your love or create one, so you never work a day in your life and it becomes life. Many have done it and continue to do it, which is encouraging. Sometimes, however, we do have to do things we don’t like and are stressful, but as long as those choices are conscious, temporary and necessary you are aware of it, then, I think it is okay. If you choose something it doesn’t feel that bad if it is an end of a means. Been in all scenarios and was always aware why and what I am doing. Everything is possible and there’s always a choice ❤

Exactly what I've been sorting through in my mind the past few weeks, Teal. I got the answer I needed by watching this video while taking notes/journaling. It got me to see CLEARLY. Side note: I spent the past 3 months in the spiritual realm in meditation and essentially isolating myself and I got SO much information about my future/future self that it was difficult to integrate back into reality (I was thinking that what I got from my meditations was going to happen NOW, because I felt and saw them so clearly, but it's not the time quite yet). And that is when your video about facing the unwanted aspects of reality came out and it TOTALLY saved me and helped me integrate back into the physical (which I thought I was NOT going to like but once I did, it gave me my power back thus giving me motivation and joy back). Now I'm putting in the EFFORT that will get me closer towards my dreams (which you also pointed out). Your videos are always in line with what I'm pondering and/or what I need to hear to keep me on the right track to achieving my goals and desires of my spirit. Love this video, Teal. The future IS bright. Thank you for sharing this with all of us. It is greatly appreciated. Could you imagine a society that prioritized people over .... say ... profits or simply making money. Can you imagine a world in which companies and businesses put an emphasis on providing a balanced life rather than just trying to make as much money as possible. Can you imagine a world in which the development of people, the giving of service and the providing of opportunities was valued more so than the bottom line. Profits are not bad. But we are SO out of balance in this world that people are struggling just to survive and provide a home and food and everything else. Even in good jobs, people struggle because they are giving so much. One of the things we could do as a society to make life better for everyone is to make it so that the richest person can only make 100 times what the poorest person makes. This would make it so that companies would not be paying so much to the top guy and instead funnel more money into the people,, thus bringing up the standard of living for everyone involved. How we look at things is what needs to change. In other words, it's much better to value PEOPLE and LIFE over simply "doing a job." People, life, the planet and all contained therein should never be abused, misused, exploited or beaten on in order to make a living. This planet could become an incredible paradise in which EVERYONE had a fair chance at doing what they want to do in life, achieving what they want, and living a life that they want. The FIRST thing that must happen is that people need to simply stop harming one another. You can keep any "ism" you have - just don't kill the guy next to you because his "ism" is different. The only rule is simply a kind of "do no harm" to life.I know this is a bit of an ideal to follow, but we must start somewhere. ALL of us on the planet are a resource for one another. ALL OF US!!! This means ALL of life is important, not just one person vs another person. Do you know that are MANY, MANY, MANY worlds out there that know NO war, where people live in PEACE, where life is valued above all else. The honest truth is that right now Earth is not even a level 1 civilization - we are too busy killing one another, exploiting each other, exploiting the earth and living at a very primal level. DO NOT let the fact that we have computers fool you into thinking we are advanced!!! We are NOT. We are not even a level 1 civilization. Earth is a place to learn. To live. To love. To grow. To expand. To connect. To take chances. To fall in love. To fall OUT of love. To soar. To fall. To get up. To feel love, pain, hope, sorrow, passion, grief, and joy. It is a very, very special place where we can use the contrasts to EXPAND and GROW farther than we've ever imagined. We are all the same, you and I and all others, but we are separated by what appears to be our differences, or our choices or our karma. We look different, speak different, do things differently ... but in truth, we are ALL THE SAME. Why? Because each and every one of us IS source expressing infinitely.

I wonder what Teal thinks about human design. I'm a projector and usually projectors have less energy for work than the average person. It amazes me how people can work full time and still be moderately happy. When I was working full time it was so awful. It sucked out all the joy and motivation/energy I had to do things I cared about. I realize that I need to have control over my own time, and that I can't spend too much time on a specific task in one day. I need the freedom to do whatever I want to do in a day, with a lot of time to do so. Currently, what I want to ultimately do for work I still need to learn how to do. I want to spend the time I would to work (which is not as much as other people) to instead learn. This video is so relevant to my life. When I was in school I couldn't even handle being 8 hours a day at school.

Makes sense. I don’t want traditional relationships. I don’t even socialize the same. I am learning to accept what works for me is different from societies expectations

Unbelievable THIS IS SOMETHING EXACTLY IN MY MIND SINCE DAY 1 OF MY WORK LIFE BUT I NEVER KNEW HOW TO EXPLAIN TO PEOPLE AND MOST PEOPLE JUST THINK YOU’RE LAZY OR CRAZY! No one understands that it’s not I don’t want to work but it’s the working style that I’m not able to cope with. No one understands that with proper work style I can be few times more productive with amazing results. I have never been happy in my work life. This inflexible, “normal” work style gave me a very very unhappy life and I know exactly why since day one. I know very clear about what I want and how I want to work for the whole time and I tried many many ways years after years to get out of this “normal” work style which is what the majority of people are doing. I cannot have this unpleasant work style for too long and I would even have depression, fatigue, anger and different kind of sicknesses if I keep going. I already compromised so much with the best of my capacity and it was very hard for me. I also tried to find or manifest something that can work from home even before Covid for years after years as I need the flexibility just like the example in the video but no luck. Until lately I FINALLY have a chance to work from home and I feel I’m about to thrive in life! It’s still not exactly where I want to be but I’m getting there and I’m so grateful that I have more flexibility in life FINALLY. It just took way too long🥲 but I KNOW I’M ON MY WAY. VERY SOON I’LL BE AT WHERE I WANT TO BE🔥 Thanks you for the elaborating what’s on my mind that I was never ever able to, as usual.
This is a lifetime gift youve given me. Thank you Teal. I will always be your fan! Wondering if you will be coming to Melbourne next year. 🙂

You know what guided my life it's either find a job or be homeless. Insecurity and fear was the factor. To do the things I really wanted to do I would need money to go to school and at the same time have money to support myself for a place to live. I couldn't do both so I had to go find a job and just stick with that job or jobs that I could find. life was rough and no support. But now I have a long time job and I'm ok here. It seems to be get a job so you can have a place to live or end up on the streets so what are you supposed to do if you can go to school and get some training or university and land a good job great but some of us just don't have the support or money to do so so just get a job whatever you can find.

What about people working at the garbage disposal? I can't imagine that anyone would see it as their purpose to do that job, but we still need people to work these jobs.

I really enjoy how she conveys her messages with such poise, calm, and elegance. Most of the messaging itself, I know to be sage and true because it clearly mirrors that from the judeo Christian Bible. Given the various metaphysical imagery in her tattoos and space, I imagine she wouldn't agree with my assessment. But, the good messages are good, even when they're borrowed from elsewhere. I sense she is a seeker of the truth.

I hate my *job and employers have become even more controlling. 30 years in the same field and I have been burned out forever. Going into any other field, less pay and harder to survive. Cannot go back to school for a different career considering my age and lack of financial security. I am *Lauren in this example. I'm a single mom with one daughter and so much more happier being at home. Employees are actually more productive. I can't even modify my schedule. Flexibility only applies to certain people. Even in an employee's market after decades. Thank you for this 🙂

Thank you so much, Teal, for stating this so clearly and succinctly. Work, life, love, and education must be allowed to unfold in harmony. We inevitably get tangled up though, don't we. But it's all a little easier with teachings like yours. 🙏🏻

Thank you for addressing this! It's so important to remember contributions and service assist in community and personal development. It's also so important to come to understanding that creative energy is shared and everyone is invited to use their gifts to help in some fashion. Do our best to understand priorities and see the big picture and that we don't need to do it all. We also shouldn't feel we can't contribute in some way.

@𝐏𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐝 by Teal Swan I've just noticed over time that I can have a certain sense of direction for how things should proceed in a work setting. But, it's interesting to find that something inside says to pull back a bit and let someone else sense it too. You know, you can guide and help a team make decisions but ultimately they need to find there inner light too guide them and look to authority as just one means of being productive. When people know the "why" of a situation, a team can accomplish just about anything

Love your examples. I can totally relate to Gabe's one. For me a "normal" life style based on carrier or family was never possible, everytime I try, I breakdown. It gaves me things to think about, a bit of hope and light. Thank you.
💓🙏💓 This is one of the most important messages that I’ve received lately! Thank you so very much for the reminder of the absolute importance of customization in all aspects of this magical life!!!

Work-life balance where do I begin, I work 12- 14 hour days sometimes 7 days a week for sometimes weeks on end I did that for years while my wife was home raising our three kids there were no date nights, there were no vacations, there were no nothings. I work a lot of holidays , birthdays anniversaries you name it. My wife was a strong woman raising our kids at home but she was burned out as I was after 14 years of that. And I also missed out on a lot of the kids growing up too.

Oh my, timing is the best! same as an example of Lorain? - I've just last week started to look for a job that can be done from home. To accommodate other interests (family, dog training, self improvement, building a house... it's a lot :D ) and a side job I have. To be more flexible ♥️
