Well, how about if the DATE function automatically distinguishes different date formats? Can we use IF funtion at the beginning?

Not sure I understand the question, but yes, you can of course use IF function.

The DATE function has specific locations for the year, month, and day in the syntax ... and it converts it to the "internal" formatted value. That "internal" formatted value can be compared to any other valid date in any format. ie. if A9 contained 28/6/2021 it could be compared to DATE(2021,11,4).

I have a date in a cell and I want the same date but in the current year in a different cell and it updates automatically the next year and so on 01-December-2019 >>>> 01-December-2021
