When in Brussels city center, I also always visit Jeanneke Pis. Oh, and there is also a Peter Pan statue in Egmont Park near 'The Hotel', same like the one in Kensington Gardens in London. Looking forward to some more Belgium vids, great country!

The thing you light to set off an explosive is called the "fuse". I saw the Mannikin Piss when I was a kid back in the 1970s. Walked down the same alley and looked to the left. There it was! I have long been aware of its size, so I think it's funny when people are surprised by how small the statue is!

I visited Brussels many years ago and loved it, especially the Grand Place. Next time I’ll know to visit Art Mountain for that beautiful view. It is surprising (and a bit sad) to see the Grand Place so empty. I’ll be happy when we are able to travel again.

Hey guys, I'm from Shanghai and I followed all of your travel vlogs back when you were in mainland China. So good to see you guys return home safely, and what's more amazing is seeing you guys not really getting affected by this Covid thing, you guys must have some truly exceptional careers back in the days. I hope you guys visit China again someday, although it's probably quite expensive and difficult to get in the country right now. There's something special about your "down to earth" style that really gets me, many other vloggers would try to come up with some narrative or opinion to tell their viewers, while you guys just expressed your feelings, with nothing to prove and nothing to hide, completely natural. Anyway, stay safe out there, as far as I know, the rest of the world do not see Covid the same way we do.

I spent one night in Brussels, took public transport to Bourse and (despite the language barriers lol) made it to Grand Palace, but unfortunately it was nearly dark by the time i got there (sad). Thank you so much for making this video.

I'm always so impressed by the Baroque Guildhalls in Grand Place. So exquisite. It IS the most beautiful square in Europe. And thanks to Naick and Kim, we are now drinking Chimay Bleu Grande Reserve...as I write. It's delicious and malty. Still love St. Bernardus Abt 12 and Westmalle Dubbel but they are meals unto themselves.

I was in Brussels last October, and couldn't find the Mannequin Pis. I loved the Grand Place, it was lovely. I followed signs for the statue, but never found it. I didn't have a SIM card for my phone or a map, so I finally gave up and went back to my cousin's house in Lille. But I enjoyed the beer, Belgian fries, and chocolate very much! LOL

Oh this visual reminds me of my vacation in Brussels. the shops etc. Also home of the Plutonium (that atomic structure). The people there seem to speak French mostly so my English was quite a handicap.

Atomium, not plutonium. Yes, most of the population speaks French and they are usually not good at other languages. In Flemish cities most people will understand you and even speak a rather decent English. Just don't try to speak French there.

Just to let you know the quality of the Chinese translation is subpar (and that's already pushing it). Some examples that I can remember: 12:57 - "In French" was interpreted as French, and the whole sentence became "French people called it King's House" 15:01 - The translator left out the part where you have to buy (pay for) the sampler, so the sentence was literally translated as "Some bars offer all types of beers as free sample" The translator also left out a lot of the parts when the conversation gets a bit complicated, and these complex parts are a lot more noticeable than translation mistakes above. Considering hiring a different translator (maybe someone who lives in an English speaking country). Providing the script of the final version of the video in written form to the translator might also help.

How about showing us where to get cheap (by european standards at least) Belgian food when in Belgium or Brussels (the capital)? In Singapore, where I'm from, hawker centres and coffee shops are the places to go, not touristy ones. In Taiwan, generally food is still slightly cheaper than in Singapore, the places to go are food streets, night markets that not the toursty types and those little restaurants/eateries. The thing in Europe is most I see are cafes, restaurants etc that look expensive to even step in, and unlike in Asia, there seems to be none of street food culture or open air food centre. But I absolutely love the al fresco cafes that in city square and alleys away from the crowd, which is not so ubiquitous or common in Singapore or in SE/East Asia.
