There are plenty of reasons why you should pirate anime. It's a great tool for the consumer to actually push for the distributor to create a better deal for us. I'm not paying 60 bucks for 3 episodes of the latest High School anime romance comedy that was shoved out there. Crunchy roll is literally the only western alternative to other distributors and they don't have a lot of the anime I want to watch. You don't force your consumers to jump through ridiculous, outdated hoops, for crazy amounts of money, for a sub-par product in the year of 2016. Seriously. Distributors need to get with the age and get on the internet.

The problem is that the legal sites exclusively licence the anime which means you pretty much need to buy multiple accounts to watch what you want, and to buy a physical copy isn't even possible as you can never find a complete series and it's extremely overpriced. Downloading anime isn't good to do though, personally I don't have any issues with streaming though because it's pretty much the same as the legal sites, you just skip 20 minutes of adds.

I wish anime didn't encourage us to Pirate with their outrageously high prices like $60 for a 13 episode series. And I wish people would stop assuming that Piracy was actually killing the anime industry when it isn't and if it was it would be toast by now. And I wish people would stop judging other people for watching anime online for free when you know damn well you aren't a saint and you don't have a right to say what's wrong and what's right. Yes I think selling Pirated stuff on the internet is wrong, but I see no problem with people putting anime out there for free at only the risk of themselves. They make anime accessible to anyone who has a phone, computer and doing a great service, If you want to point out Crunchy Roll and say they do it right then you are forgetting about the people who like dubbed anime and have little intelligence on the subject......
