Sounded like the plug was loading up from running rich. You were putting out a lot of smoke in that one rear end shot on the start as well. Tuned right a two stroke isn't going to put out a lot of smoke. My guess is your carb is jetted too rich where you're running it while you're racing, but maybe not where you run it play riding if you never have this issue on the trails. I'd try dropping the needle and then seeing what the plug looks like after running through the gears at half throttle. You can search how to check the jetting by riding in different throttle ranges. Just need some space to do it for the main circuit.

100% you need a new stator. I am running the high output ricky stator on my bike 1987trx its a quality part. It used to cut out once really hot like yours did.

The bog Def could be from the plug. What carb ate you running stock 36mm?

Yes, stock carb but it seems that it still have extra oil in the system from the re-build or a defective plug. Thats racing!

definetly the plug, my 86 r had the same issue I adjusted my gas to oil mix and put a new plug in and now runs like a champ lol. also rejetted

@@RWATV I would try a new lectron carb either h series or billitron. I have the billitron on my trx250r and perfict. Way better than the 38mm pwk that I had.
